Each altcoin have its own wallet/web wallet, you can go and visit their main site mostly they have desktop wallet, just visit their main website and you can download it there. And don't trust those sites that is not officially announced by their ANN or them to store any of this coin I mean those third party site.

Nice answer here. Most of us may not keeping just one altcoin, usually we keep more than 2 altcoins when we do trading altcoins. The best way to save them is just save it on an exchange. Because you know exchange website always provide altcoin address to deposit or withdraw altcoins to ease their users.

You can try poswallet,it's a staking a web wallet also, but a piece of advice do not put all your eggs in one basket, there's no guaranty or assurance that these online web wallets will not run with your coins, still better to have majority of it in your desktop wallet.

Mostly people are just keeping coins on exchange. But don't keep big amount of coins on exhange, in past several exchanges was hacked.
You can try Coinomi wallet. They support many altcoins and it's really safe wallet. Yes, it's not web wallet, it only works on Android, but soon they will release their wallet for Windows and iOS devices. I think it's better to keep altcoins in this wallet than in various online altcoin wallets.
You also can try Holytransaction.com, they support few most popular altcoins. But it's more exchange than a wallet.

No. Just NO. That's the biggest mistake you might make! Look at Bitfinex, it got hacked just around half an year ago and people lost $60 MILLION! It doesn't even matter if it's the devs taking the money or real hackers - the money had been stolen by somebody and that's a warning for every future investor! Imagine going to a real exchange and leaving your wallet there because you think it's the safest place - it's not worth it! Although it's harder, you better download the wallet for each Altcoin instead and not risk losing your investments. After you've completed the trade, WITHDRAW!

We don't talk about bitcoin, we talked about altcoin. I give an alternative way if you saving more than two kind of altcoins. It will be a simplest way if you hold different altcoins that worth to less than 1 btc and much be better than install all of the wallet of any altcoins you hold.
The first question is, for what do you keep an altcoin? After seeing many coins gone to scam, it's not good to save it more than one year and short trade is the best way for the altcoins holder. And yes like you said, after you've completed the trade and get profit, WITHDRAW TO BTC.

What altcoin are you looking? You need to specify so we can give you a link of an existing web wallet for the altcoin you have. Or is this somewhat you are looking gor someone who can build you a web wallet? Yoir question is reallynot clear. You need to provide more information.

I found a good one that holds most of the major alts which are worth mbtc or more per coin.
Exodus can handle Ethereum, Dash, Doge, Litcoin and of course Bitcoin.
It also has a nifty feature that lets you do an in wallet exchange of each coin using shapeshift which works out to be pretty cool. Because after you proceed with the exchange it timestamps that transaction with the price at the time of the exchange and then tells you the current price of that same transaction in live price rate. Every nice feature for those that are particular about the price you paid during the exchange like myself. ;)
I use to do it in a spreadsheet to see how much I lost when the price spiked and now all the sudden rose when I wanted to go ahead and do an exchange. A real time saver for a price scrooge who cares about that sort of stuff. :D
The live price ticker of what you have currently in your wallet is also a nice feature as well.
Not sure what price they use to give that rate though.
That is something to ask the developers about on their ANN thread created by Omegastarstream on another thread in the exchanges section of the forum.
Not exactly a web wallet but a downloadable one with these features are really cool to have besides one that resides on the web like blockchain.info. That's for sure! :)

both are good but on poloniex you cannot only save your altcoins without do trading activities because it's not allowed for poloniex policy and usually if you use poloniex only for online wallet they will pending your withdrawal however might be bittrex more good if we compare from these two exchanges

I wouldn't advise using any of the proof of stake online wallets that hold your coins for you as these will be very risky, if you do have to keep your altcoins online, it would be better to use one of the exchanges such as Bittrex.

1.It is neve safe to keep your money in web wallets for obvious reasons.Isnt the altcoin you choose to buy supper to give you a desktop wallet ?whats wrong with using that one ? That's a safe choice.
2.As Simple as it sounds, you can store your coins in an exchange which supports that alt ,I'm sure most of the exchanges support a lot of Alts.Again, not advised to do so since you cannot predict an Mtgoxx attack.
