My next phone might be an iPod Touch. I don't need a $100/mo bill. wish i could find an android equivalent. Samsung is a pain with the firmware updates. HTC is great for accessories, rooting and general good quality. Look into those dual screens that they are starting to make for multi tasking. Title: Re: Smartphone Recommendations? All the manufacturers are taking forever to update their firmware with bloatware, opening the platform to security vulnerabilities.

Buy the S6: you won't regret it.

But since you got this started again, I'd say go with iPhone if you like simplicity (even though it's nowhere near what it used to be) or Android if you like customizations. If Microsoft gets a nice ecosystem going with Win 10, I might well give Windows Phone a try a some point :)
