Idea is very great but website doesn't seems to have design and any great function. Well, I suggest you to add following: Let users to be notified by sms on their mobile phone, also email notification is good but very poor because if I am out and don't have access on internet, but need to be notified, email is useless in this situation You gaved me really great idea, maybe I will also offer such service to btctalk members but there is risk that someone will add many transactions spammy if service will be free.

Very good idea if this type of website is done then almost all the users will get the details about the latest trade they have done and also the price of the coin purchased so that you can get out in profit when the price rises.

Ok, this is interesting, i have searched for something like this.
I've tested your site, but i got this "Getting transaction information failed. Check your TX id." i've tried input the tx id whether with only the number of tx id or completely link like https://blockchain.info/tx/.......................
But i always got that message, am i wrong or is it a bug?? i used chrome btw. Please correct me if I am wrong about inputting the tx id.

SMS might be a good idea in situation where people don't have internet, but as I had a look, most APIs cost something. Out of interest, would you pay for that just to receive a sms notification?

It's a nice idea :) I hope it all works out for you :)

Maybe you could create an app and use push notifications to notify people instead of just using email.
sending SMS's is going to cost you but there are a lot of free push notification services so I think that would be good.
Hit me up if u need any help developing this :D

I had been thinking the same. Something like https://www.pushbullet.com/ (https://www.pushbullet.com/). If someone wishes SMS, I guess they need to pay for it, since I don't know any API which is free.

I think it's a cool site, even for me when i need to wait for confirmation, but if you will rework the design of site it would be a really popular site

Blockchain.info already providing this function/option e-mail and sms all for free without any deduction even if they want to they couldn't because they have no access to your funds. you could also receive notification if you import an address as a watch only.

You should explain all about it in the main post. How does the app work? How do users get notified, via email or sms? The idea is nice and would do great if implemented well with good features.

So it also works even I the user uses different wallet? I never tried nor heard about this service of blockchain.info before. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry... I forgot about this thread.. Just the TX id should work? I'm putting it in all lowercase and it's finding it without issue

I'm not much of a designer :/ new designs are welcome via PRs

I updated it to a material theme which I think looks a bit better

Blockchain will only send you a notification when you receive a transaction. This is not the purpose of this tool. Just read the title and you will understand what is this website for.

I like this project maybe its possible to make a wallet address checker
so you fill in your wallet and it looks for your newest transactions and let you know when they are confirmed?

I like the idea. Simple. But, the website needs more work. Its too basic for today's internet. Improve it if you can :)

You obviously don't know much about "today's internet". At least web design. The point of a website is not to fill it with useless information. It is to put as little info as necessary, but don't miss anything. In other words only what you need and nothing more. This site is perfect because it has everything we need and nothing more. It does not need to be improved because it works and looks OK, and that is all that matters.

You should implement desktop notifications, they're currently supported by Chrome, Firefox and Edge plus more, you can see here on how to use them: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/notification.

IMO this is the best way to notify someone, audio is nice but I think native browser notifications are the way to go.

Could add API, then integration with Zapier? Webhooks?    :)

Confirmations could then mean tweets sent, google sheets updated, lights turned on, emails sent, slack messages, receipts sent, commits pushed, forms submitted....
