I have some coins I've kept but I'm not sure if its still possible to earn with the litecoin being pumped. I recently bought some other coin as well like Ripple but withdraw the first chance I got earning me few bucks. Do you think the price of LTC wil be more than $10 before the month end?

It seems likely.

 The Chinese are waiting for this to happen for years already.  I hope selling my Melonport and ICN to buy LTC is worth doing.

Its possible if they make some update on the litecoin or a make some pump on the litecoin price because I think they're some user that currently still holding their litecoin and they still waiting for pump.

It definitely looks like that but still I think I'd not be buying that right now, always too risky to buy on a pump already so high, you never know where it will be in a couple of hours when its pumped.

this is a very good question and it is not only about litecoin but about anything else you invest in. you should have a pretty good reason for it. if you think there is a reason for higher rise then invest otherwise if you are just guessing, your investment means gambling.

in my opinion, based on what has happened in the past with litecoin, i say there is a very good chance that litecoin keeps on rising much higher. and specially since it is the start of this rally you can be a little bit more sure about more rise to come.

also for litecoin we have the Segwit hype (61.5% signalling now) which can be a good driving force.

Litecoin has real credibility.  Anyone who thinks that Bitcoin isn't good enough for their transactions but wants a credible alt that's been around for a long time will choose Litecoin.  Ethereum is mainly a melting pot of whales, newbies who dumped their Bitcoin into it and people who don't appreciate the importance of longevity with altcoins.

LTC is growing even after a pretty big BTC rise, so it looks a promising buy right now.
I sold all after the vertical pump, now I'm considering buying again.

you shouldn't hesitate like this, instead you should just buy back.

i did the same thing in the first day right after the 0.008BTC rise then i placed some new orders at lower prices and spread them and walked away. most of them were filled up to 0.0055BTC and then i sold some of it again after the second wave of rise that day and again bought back at 0.0073-0.0075BTC
and that's the way you do things not by waiting around thinking should i get in or not.

and right now i am waiting for the next wave or rises to happen to make some more short term profit.

There is a slight chance that you can get profit from litecoin, now litecoin is in the investor radar, but I still not sure how long litecoin will be pumped, but my feeling say that the price will still go up, so I think you still got chance to do trading with litecoin just be extra careful when you invest in litecoin

Litecoin is still growing. More than $8 already. As the coin itself is old and famous, I think it should also be considered by you as a long-term investment. Popular casinos have ltc bankroll, so it is not likely to fall a lot anyway. And if you think about a short-term investment - the less time from now goes before you buy - the better. It seems to be an extremely good investment right now.

If you want to make profit with LTC than wait till it reach 0.01BTC so that you can open some short position at that price. At 0.01BTC per LTC, i expect a big dump. I am waiting for this and creating short orders right now with almost 1BTC. Good luck to me.. ;)

There was a time when litecoin reached more than $35 but now, for so many months it's consistently below $4.
I would suggest to sell your litecoins in this pump and buy back some when the price drops. Right now it's near to $9 and hope it'll cross $10 soon. Try to be alert and sell at the top point of the pump.

No one knows if it would reach for that price point but seeing on the movement theres a possibility but i think its risky to buy as of now because for bagholders of LTC would decide to sell off their coins on the current price which would lead to dump and if you bought on those ranges then you will surely lose up some bitcoin. Buy on your own risk and remember always the things involved before investing.

Nope, too late.  There's always the chance that it'll go higher but that'll be a pump and won't last (even Ethereum has dropped down to $43, I think these altcoins are on a downtrend).

Yeah, it's probably still a good time to buy litecoin since it still has potential and has thrived with bitcoin. On other hand I think it's too late for ETH now the window to make profit has passed, but LTC might still have some potential.

Why not? Litecoin has also the potential like bitcoin, there is a chance that its price will increase too as BTC is already recovering now... But still its up to you if you are really willing to take the risk and if you think that the pump will continue.

Now we can easily exchange from litecoin to btc or btc. Litecoin proved to exist and its existence is high. What's wrong with us buying a lite coin.

Litecoin is good coin some coins make great pump and dump.

Litcoin is a very good coin according to me and its one of the oldest coin after bitcoin. And its very popular in china most of the people around the world investing their money in litecoin after bitcoin. I am hoping that litecoin will be worth good in future. I am hoping that after bitcoin segwit lite coin can get to 100$-150$ for sure.

But in this time you know that the bitcoin will get the hardfork that will have increased the blocksize of bitcoin and implement the segwit. I don't think if this is a good time to buy the litecoin at the same ime the bitcoin gets more improvement. Does it make litecoin become worthless for bitcoin? i mean the more people interested in using bitcoin.

According to me yes. Because litecoin is a very good coin and have a very solid future and people are investing money in litecoin for long term so it is still undervalued now. Its not late to invest in litecoin according to my prediction litecoin can go to 150$ after this bitcoin segwit thing complete because bitcoin is not allowing any coin to grow properly because bitcoin market is to much volatile at this time so its is effecting other coins also.

We're in a middle of a market crash right now..you might want to reconsider investing in anything at all.

Why isn't it a good time to buy now that the price has gone lower? Don't you think it's a good time to buy now, take advantage and store some more because the value is getting lower. Buy low and sell high if you are in trading.

Currently the price of litecoin is $37 and is you but litecoin at $10 you should have make over 200% profit in just few months. Even at now investing in litecoin is one of the best coins to buy now. No coin is death for now but maybe in future so you can really invest in others coin now.

If theres and update to the litecoins it can be good,but these coins are becoming low amount.Some people are waiting for the price of it to increase but theres nothing to increase.And the price and ammount of it really fall.Aside from that ,also some Small coins are like that and some are really no function.

Price pump will happen mostly on the time we are not expecting it. Also it can do dumps depending upon the currency exchange situation on the market price value for all coins. I bet you just monitor the happenings to keep you updated. But as soon as price drops, it will be a great opportunity to buy more coins.

Yes keep litecoin. I think it is cheap at 40. Just think. Bitcoin is speculated to be around 20,000 dollars in 5 years. Litecoin has 4 times as many coins. So litecoin in the future could be 1000 dollars a coin.

I am also tracking the price of LTC because the price of this altcoin is currently stable prices than Bitcoin and Ethereum. I think buying LTC at the moment is the most appropriate because we do not know exactly how the segwit event takes place.

Sadly LTC didn't drop too much in the recent fire sales, but i think if segwit gets pass LTC is going to explode. Get ready for it boys.

I think it does not matter if for the long term, but I see from yesterday till now LTC no sales movement in the market, I am not sure your investment in it will be very profitable, if you want. Waiting for years is fine.

I'm also sad, when the issue is segwit, almost all the coins down to the floor, I think this is the hardest period I've ever experienced since the last 2 years.

i think its still a good time to buy litecoin, but if you could wait for a little, then i think when the price is reach 0.018-0.019, you can buy it. if you think the price now is not a problem, then you can buy directly with that price and hold as much as you can. but remember, always use your money careful, your decision is to buy is your responsible.

Possibly. But LTC is a solid alt. You may actually choose to hold it for some more time. Just like ripple. You may also keep it for a while. It will increase in the future. But if that's your trading strategy, then you go ahead. I think you better keep your % moderate so that profit is insured.

The price of litecoin is still too high, friend. Now is not the time to buy I think, let alone the price of litecoin is currently rising. It's better to wait for the price to fall and buy litecoins.
