I set up my gpu farm and started reaping profits, they come in large quantities so I sent half of what I managed to farm to a charity fund. There's no need for another cryptonote coin, at least now. I was asking because there was some cryptonote coin that had limit about sending amount, 1500 coins was sending with no problem but amount more of that was coming back in a few days, so as I understand all cryptonote coins have there own limits about send amount, more or less. I have seen people keep the same .dat or .wallet with giant files & still work, but wouldn't recommend it. Also always back up before you start to use the address, never save over your starting file & always save a new backup (keep the 1kb file is key). You can if you want, create a separate wallet and send your coins there in as big a transaction as is allowed. For as many transactions as are needed. Like a storage wallet Then it is a lot nicer and tidy, and the wallet size in kb will be smaller too with less chance of corruption. Keep the other wallet for mining @lupanar Thanks for info. I was asking because there was some cryptonote coin that had limit about sending amount, 1500 coins was sending with no problem but amount more of that was coming back in a few days, so as I understand all cryptonote coins have there own limits about send amount, more or less. I've made many mistakes along the way of testing (some memories from 10 years ago with basic installations of the operating systems ring over & over), but only took a few times to learn the How-To's in backup procedures), but have also learned or made many knowledgeable use of it over the years. There's a lot of knowledge that they don't teach you, not even in text book & you have to learn hands on what can't be learn from text. Video tutorials would be a whole different story, the world changes quick & as they say "an ...image, picture, photo = 1000 words, so a video would be limitless in theory". I had a problem with the sync only once last week sometime, but have now setup a dedicated node via the daemon & set the log level to 4 to keep watch of the network. Looks like 49 total peers, but no one leaves the daemon open & we only have 1 or 2 peer @ all times. As for the opening of wallet files, no problems @ all (unless encrypting the GUI). Think we need more pools or a few more dedicated nodes, maybe offer bounty to anyone able to setup another pool or block explorer? I don't think this one will make it to cryptopia. Maybe a coin swap to a different coin would be better. A regular bitcoin clone that small exchanges like nova can support, and we can vote it to list. it would also make it easy to reduce the supply, like 1:100 or even 1:1000. Maybe fork a coin that has a cpu algo for mining, many are around, and distribute to those that own current bitdirect.
