We are seeking an experienced blockchain engineer/architect to help us build a system for quality and safety control for food. Our website foodblockchain.xyz describes our mission, vision, prototypes and use cases. We are now working on creating a protocol, smart contracts, tokens and solutions to build blockchain-powered sensor systems - and are looking for 1 more person to come on board of our startup and help us realise our vision. We have a team of 10 high achievers, including some veterans of the food industry and several top advisors; we are supported by the Government of Switzerland and already have interest from several leading industry players.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with blockchains / ethereum / EVM / smart contracts and / or P2P systems, decentralised databases, etc. etc. - we need someone with system thinking and ability to design process flow and architecture.

You will be part of a stellar team working on an ambitious mission; we are based at EPFL Innovation Park in Switzerland, at one of Europe's most successful hotspots of innovation (even if less known than London, Berlin, etc.); we will offer a competitive salary and an opportunity to share in the profits/revenues that we as a team will generate.

Are you hiring for any other roles apart from system architect ? I'll be much interested in applying as a Junior Level Software Engineer.Also,do you sponsor visas for applications oustide EU/UK ? Please update the thread with such details.
