Going to try something interesting and see how it goes. This will likely be a 1-time thing....

All I will say is that the box will be worth more than the auction price and will likely contain some precious metals/electronics/collectibles/etc... The higher the bid price the better the stuff that goes into the box! I have all sorts of cool stuff laying around and I will guarantee the winner will be happy.

Yeah as I understand it Blazed will put in stuff that reflects the value of the highest bid at the end of the auction.

what if i am sleeping and no body put the bid more than me , but suddenly just before a minute someone put a higher bid. Then in that case will a user get any chance to re-bid?

if you are sleeping then how will you re-bid?

It looks like no matter what, the auction will end at that time, as there aren't any extension rules.

Sure, just wondering if the split the difference will effect the value. For example 0.4-0.31=0.09
0.045 split both ways, would it be considered at 0.355 BTC? If and when blazed is packaging the mystery box?

half the difference would go to blazed...so presumably he'd raise the the value to 0.355 and up in increments of .025

if he doesn't accept the additional auction on the technicality then I'll collect the box on it.

Yes! I only found this thread now, and although I got distracted reading the Reviews on Amazon about the 55 gallon lube, I was still hoping to find out what's in the mystery box.
Although the mystery is gone when you reveal it. It could have been Schrödinger's box for you too, if you wouldn't have opened it.
