And are these standalone bots or are you also able to automate things for, for example, populating charts/databases based on data online (say pinging a website every 5 mins, pulling specific data, adding to database).

Your paying per hour, and the work takes time according to the features that you want in the bots. I've made simple bots for as low as 30-50$, I've also made complex ones in 200-500$ range.
