Title: [Warning] WeTrust Crowsale is totally a SCAM
Post by: xiangyi on April 12, 2017, 02:26:00 PM
A lot of people in their slack channel asked about what the timeline of listing it in exchanges.
The dev team said:
Quote
most people involved in the Ethereum ecosystem are more interested in the technology, not short-term ICO profits. TRST tokens have utility within the wetrust ecosystem, and that's the value the team is providing.
Exchanges can decide to add TRST tokens (and get the trading fees from people like you) on their own, it's not the teams responsibility to do so. This has already been answered several times before.
If you want exchanges to carry TRST, you are free to request it yourself through their channels.

If cannot listed, TRST means nothing to me, it’s just a story.
Story is just story, every coin has a story, in fact I believe none of them except BTC, why I believe in BTC because I believe many of others believe in it. But not TRST.
I care nothing about if TRST will become successful or not, I just care about earning from ICO, that’s basically the only reason that I put money into crowdsale.  SO, please let me and others know, are YOU GUYS having a plan to list into exchanges? What is the timeline?
I saw others also asked, please help to answer straightforwardly.

And if no listing, how can others join in this story? How can this story be true?
do not trust them, and if you join the crowsale, you money cannot be back shortly, and may disappear eventually.

Please do not start such discussions here without having enough evidence to prove it. Many investors have trusted their money to this project and they interest in them future.

than you would know the guy that runs factom has said things that he doesnt care about price on the exchanges yet you hold it? sounds like a double standard to me, trust will get listed on a exchange the ipo is down to its last 4 hours and people are investing as we speak so clearly uve gotten your point across to noone.

I'm not sure what you say is true about Wetrust, maybe you just nonsense that always speaks ill of others without providing definitive evidence rician to it, I see Wetrust already in achieving success at the end of the ICO and he was not as bad as you think.

The thing i understood is that wetrust team dont want to bother/waste time to get listed on exchanges for now. But it will be the exchanges who will automatically add wetrust coins when the time comes

Dont be worry. Wetrust is legit and exchanges will list them pretty soon if there is demand for it

just look at edgeless perfect example not on any major exchanges yet volume is decent and price going up stop worrying, the wetrust team only puts in the whole not a investment thing to cover there asses from legal standpoint, it has to go on a exchange, will it be a big one right away prob not in the future likely,  if there is demand for it exchanges will list it because they make profits off the trading, buy and hold and ul be happy in the long run.

It's not on exchange doesn't mean it's scam.

However I do feel like if the team actually believes in the coin they have managed to put out to for the crowdsale then they should be responsible for putting it onto an exchange as well.

But then, all they're responsible for TECHNICALLY is to give the coins to the investors.

That's all

Another ignorant Chinese altcoin team, I have seen so many, ANS, QTUM, TRST now, after they raised thousands of bitcoins, they start to think they are the king, investors need to beg them. What a joke team right? Good projects should be listing on exchanges after the launch, but it seems the team doesn't care about exchange thing. Incompetent!!

Well this was seen from a long ways away.
No updates and keeping in touch with the ico purchasers is a clear sign of a scam happening.

Just because wetrust team did not specify the date when the trust will go to the exchange does not mean they are a scam, the success of a project can indeed be seen from the price of coins but it is too early to mention that wetrust scam, when you investing in ICO or anykind of investment you should believe about the team and project can give you profit.

No exchange = no more support will flow to the community. I hope you've realized it. Some of the wetrust investors are complaining if that was an ico and not as a charity.

Anyone buy into this crap deserved to be scam on.
The faces of the team full of serial scammers and amateur Chinese kids.
I like that, The whitepaper is really ambigue about the explanation of wetrust token. That's not as an investment nor the token security.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1773367.msg18561484#msg18561484

There is no more explanation or clarification from the dev.

Liqui.io and EtherDelta will inevitably list the coin. Listing random ERC-20 tokens is like half their business model.

I corrected your topic title for you..

[Warning] Crowsale is totally a SCAM

All of them..

FUD is always deserved given the history & context of this shit.
And there never has been 1 single successful ICO ever.
That is like saying we had a successful Pyramid Scheme.  ::)

It is obvious their token is ready but can an individual  or group of individual  who because they want to trade a token approach an exchange  and be accepted. I mean high volume active exchanges. I also think if the statement was made on slack,u can ask question to clarify or express your greviamces

From slack channel:

can someone explain wetrust in under 5 sentences?
Quote
Lending and borrowing from people you trust instead of banks

Quote
Let's say you lend 100$ to a friend
[10:52]
If you lend small amount then it's just reputation lost - you know that given friend is unreliable
[10:53]
If you lend substantial amount you can go to court with it to start collection process
[10:54]
Insurance is pointless in such case because insurer could just lend money to your friend and get 100% risk - there is weak inventive for your friend to repay if he will not suffer consequences from not paying you back

Why I need to use WeTrust to borrow from people I trust? It's just a joke.
Hey my brother, I want to borrow some money from you.
Okey, let's use WeTrust.
WTF?
Can I call them online escrow? But I strongly dislike with his idea. Your word makes a sense for me at least the borrowers are the unknown person and I can say that idea will being rational in my mind.

and again fud attack to succesfull ico, every great project always has troll and fudder what next? maybe soon you will say taas is a scam project too
WTF are you doing in here? The people are free to express his impression or feedback about the ico.
It's not prohibited by some reason.

Try to look at his white paper and you will see more nonsense word by the team about the trust token.

They adjusted the amount of trust u got based off price of eth at the time of investment when you first invested eth was 20 each so essentially you were investing 20 for each ether, now that eth is close to 50 guess what they treated it like a 50 dollar investment and you got more trust coins for it, its not there fault the price of eth went up they did what they could they gave more when price went up. Once again more fud from you

Yes I agree it's just an assumption Op cannot and don't want to post it in the scam accusation section because there aren't enough evidence to accuse the team of scam he even title it totally scam when there no proves to show, next time learn how to use this forum by creating a thread in the right section.+

So this is a definite dud then?
They will not be paying out the bounties?

Very sad for another ICO to turn scam and run before paying anybody for their work. :-[

Trust coin has already been added to Bittrex and Liqui, so all the paranoid who wrote here can be silenced.

It seems like OP is too panicked on this situation and i would really like to suggest that you should wait longer if it would be listed on exchanges and also you do know the risk on putting up money on ICO crodsale or whatsoever which means you would need to wait and dont rush thing up. If they would be listed on exchanges then its a profit for you but if not then you got scammed then thats the time you will say that they are scammers.

The moment of silence when the first post stated coins to be list on exchanges are required to request it individually.

Days after token is distributed, it was listed on Bittrex and today Liqui

xd

See now OP  it's already listed in exchange after the distribution what can you say now is TRST is still scam for you  ;D ???  as we can see the price now is higher than ICO price it is a good start for this coin.

And it did turn out to be a scam, after all. Of course, I don't want to throw around strong accusations like that, but they are dishonest at best. There's a medium article about WeTrust (https://medium.com/@wetrustinvestor/wetrust-to-ico-investors-not-your-money-scam-or-arrogance-63f0798cfdba) that you can read which highlights their dishonesty. They were indirectly saying how it's a good investment during ICO days, but now they are rejecting listings on exchanges and saying TRST token is not an investment.
