For me the latest price drop from 20 to 16 to 13 happened at 3am (My time AEST) and I had no defence. I sold at 15.93 and was waiting with baited breath for it to drop. I went to bed at 2:30am. But with the actual API of Mtgox its relative easy made that program. Im a n00b in trade. And I spend exactly what you. I buy when sleep at high price. For now what I do is have open orders only if I see mtgoxlive.com I'ma web developer, perhaps among some program and we could build such a tool among other could fund the first release.
