Title: Selling bitcoins locally.
Post by: Bitcoin Swami on June 18, 2011, 01:39:49 AM
I think its a good idea to try to sell your bitcoins locally instead of on the exchanges.  I put a few on craigslist and sold them to a guy for 20 bucks (the market was 15).  Not only can you make more for your bitcoins (possibly), but you're growing the idea locally and might help the price rise by not clogging up the exchanges with bitcoins.  :)

Just my 2 bits.

I trade coins with my fellow countrymen on OTC. Saves me the hassle of slow international transfers, exchange rates, fees and taxation.
