Doing the coin swap from the old trade to trade2 is fairly basic. Move all your coins from your Trade wallets or Cryptopia to your NovaExchange Trade Account. To get the coins to confirm though the blockchain needs to move. You need to point a miner to the Old trade pool at: http://cryptopools.site:8080/workers

Problems that may occur when moving coins to Nova are: No one is mining, your wallet is out of snyc, Nova requires 17 blocks to get mined before the deposit is final.

I rented a mining rig for 3 hours at 100MH/s from miningrigrentals for about .0008 btc to get those 17 blocks mined.

There is still one miner in the pool so a few blocks will get mined but it is running at about 6MH/s so it is not going fast and maybe will only mine 1 or 2 more blocks.

If you not already done so, transfer your old tradecoins to Nova NOW! 

I am keeping the old blockchain going at a good pace with my 6MH miner.  Nobody put any higher hash on it anymore, no point in getting it stuck up on a high diff again.  I will mine for a few hours still.  If you need the blockchain to move again tomorrow, just post here and i'll continue mining.   

People can send their wallet.dat to avoid 17 confirmations.

You are better moving the miner, and rely on setgenerate true if anything comes through.

oh well, a minority of us dont sell(dump) altcoins at the fastest (lowest) btc price as soon as we acquire them, but prefer to gather up a wad, set the wallet aside for a few months, then come back and see how they have been doing.
in this case they did terribly -- zero value.

shrug... 110k Trade didnt have much value to start with anyway, time to move on. so many other altcoins to check out.

the new trade has lower amount of coin supply and smaller premine. all a good thing. but now looking at the original trade... it could of been ok against the MOON, SMLY, DOGE, RDD, and those sorts that have billions of coins out there and are moving up in value. Hmm oh well. let's see what trade2 does and if gets a community around it. For those interested in mining a coin with a small miner... trade2 is one of them. Has low Diff so far. Has a bit of buy support to sell into or hold and see if it will go to 100 sats :)

them allowing deposits and conversions is not much use if there are no peers mining on the old trade-1 network to confirm the transfers.

now, since my trade1 are essentially useless anyway, i'd be willing to provide them the PRIVATE key to my wallet address

Yobit is a free submission but probably won't get listed without paying something, Cryptopia is maybe 1 btc at the current rate... though don't know for sure, CCEX... don't know much about, the coin doesn't have enough volume for bittrex. Yes Yobit needs to get paid. They will only list coins which are on "Higher exchange" for free.
Cryptopia is now expensive like you said, too expensive for their volume.
C-Cex needs votes or paying. Top coin in each week gets into exhange. So it's either about 0.8-1 BTC or around 1000 votes. But one profile can only vote for coin once (no resets) and account needs to have 0.1 BTC in balance. Can send that money away after voting though.
Tux is low volume but can try.
Bter has stopped all wd of money and need verification for that.
Bleu never answer my coin request or anything.

Coin exchange is now 0.25BTC if they haven't changed it, and are too low for price they ask.

I know that people hate YoBit but I think that it would be another good place for the coin. Despite all the trollboxscams and the abundance of dead coins you still have to give it to yobit. It pushes out volume! They have a .1 BTC fee for a  4-7 business day add I'd gladly pitch in a little bit.

i wanted to answer to a question what i have read here now, why there are 2 coins,and if i can handle them.

There are 2 coins, they have different goals, in the forum you can read the development history of both.

But both have different goals, scorecoin will be actively promoted for games, after all this technical stuff with the masternodes and code update, and so on is finished.

TradecoinV2 is for merchants, like the name says, we will actively promote it to merchants,shops, and payment processors.

The question if i can handle both coins is, Our Team gets bigger, we get a new expert in our Team, we will share the work of both coins.

He is an amazing Dev, just short and clear:), just now he is in vacation, after vacation he is joining our Team.

I just had a skype video conference with him today, we talked about the new roadmap and the msaternodes.

Soon i will release the new roadmap for both coins.

Also i get everyday applications, that people wanna join our Team.

Our Goal is to have a Team with specialists in it.

For those who think this coins are just made for fun, these guys will be surprised in lets say one year, or half year.

Or when we get into bittrex and Polo.

But then they will have missed the train already.

The 150k price for Scorecoin Masternodes is fix, and fair.

Scorecoin was long time very cheap , you could take the chance to buy.

I have been a lurker for a while, and signed up so I could partake in the discussion on Trade coin.

I see this coin has incredible upside potential given its features. Small supply, masternodes functionality to come soon, and planned integration with merchants. Yikes!

The merchants agreement is especially exciting to me as it is something you can point to and say is a value proposition, outside of the investment purposes. With regards to this, I'm not sure we are at the point where people are happy to pay for goods and services using a volatile asset class like cryptocurrencies.

If using Trade coins as a currency is not feasible, I see a way that we can market it as loyalty points. Here in Australia, most of the large supermarkets work with a company called Flybuys. Shoppers have a flybuys card that they present at the checkout. They get a fixed ratio of points per dollar spent at participating stores. They can redeem these points on dedicated marketplace for thing such as flights, sport tickets, etc.

Perhaps this is worth investigating?

Masternode for trade is due september. When its released you set up a running server, either at home or VPS. Dev is gonna make a tutorial about it.

Yes, work is beeing done :) MN is comming in about a month or so. Value is very low due to low volume. I figure many will wait until MN price is decided and is up and running. But if you want to gamble a bit, the price now is extremely low with a marketcap of only $10-15K.

The thing is if the coin is worth nothing you can earn as much coins as you want, it's getting you nothing. I have enough coin for a MN, but what do I do with it? Is this PoS instead of PoW? 

I'm good at the the technical side, but not that good at marketing, so we all have some areas where we are stronger than others.  ;D

PoS or PoW runs alongside masternodes - you need PoS or PoW for the main part of the coin's network and to create new coins.

A masternode is where you run a server to support the coin's network and you lock a fixed amount of coins (30,000 for TRADE) so that you cannot spend them while the masternode is running.  In return for locking the coins to enable you to run a masternode you get regular payments for it providing this service.  These payments are a share of what is generated from PoW/PoS mining.

I've started a managed masternode service where I set up the technical side for you, but you own and control the server that your masternode is on (optionally I can provide a regular monitoring and update service for the wallet and server).  You keep the locked coins in the wallet associated with your computer, so they are never on the masternode server (and you'd never send them to anyone else to hold).  At any point, if you shut down the masternode and unlock the coins then you can spend/exchange them should you wish.

Cloudflare is probably an overkill for a masternode.  Masternodes usually need little resources, so even the cheap VPSes should be fine.  If you have a choice Ubuntu is usually the preferred Linux distribution for people running masternodes, although I use Debian for my (non-masternode) servers.

Yeah the wallet doesn't have any hardcoded seed nodes.   You need to enter some manually to get it connecting.   Try going to the debug console from the wallet menus and type the following:

You can also create a tradecoin.conf text file in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\tradecoin\  and put a list of nodes like:

Why is this file not included in the Tradecoin Wallet? I have spent the past 3 days trying to download the blockchain to only find that notepad keeps on adding .txt after the conf filename...

I'm thinking that SCORE was first because it was already on the higher volume exchange Cryptopia.  It costs a decent amount of DOT to list there, so it made sense that it would be the first coin to get worked on.  From what I understand, there really isnt that much difference code wise, except for supply, which is much smaller in TRADE.  Long term, it could definitely give TRADE more value, as the supply is much smaller than with SCORE.

My advice is if you do have some TRADE, hold on to it.  No sense selling at the price it is now . . well, unless you need to feed your family with the btc or something.  But otherwise, hang tight!!

Trade has a lot of potential - I have been speaking with the team, but it really depends on how they want to drive this coin. I see it as a merchant coin, but time will tell.

What do you mean 4000 coins lost? If your wallet did not fully sync yet it will not show your correct balance. You need to wait until it fully synced

I want to transfer my Trade coins from Novaexchange to my wallet since Nova is closing. I downloaded a wallet from Trade but
when I try to transfer coins from Nova is not possible. Its spinnning and Nova cant send coins.

Any other salution to save coins before  Nova closes ?

It's Nova error. Try again after time. I did manage to wd some alts earlier today. Eiterway you can withdrawn your coins until 2018 April. So don't stress too much.

Here is the regular update to give you an insight about our current process. Since there were also couple questions, regarding Tradecoin, I want to cover them with this announcement too.

We decided to release a complete new version for both, Score and Trade, which will require a Coin Swap. This is a good thing! We will ensure a 1:1 ratio so its stays that way. One, of the many reasons, we decided to take this step is the closure of Nova.
So, we are currently working on a Solution to take both coins on a new Exchange. Of course, there is also a possibility to stay and list Tradecoin on Cryptopia.

I cannot give more details but as soon as we are done dealing with this, we will start the release as well as the swap. Both new versions, including Masternodes, have been already tested successfully.

Next Update will be between 04.12.17-10.12.17.

Masternode for trade within 3 weeks!!!

Well, if this happens, all the people who sold at a huge loss are going to kick themselves in the teeth.

MN coins are huge right now and it makes sense that TRADE should capitalize on their popularity.  So many coins are popping up, getting on MN ranking sites, and creating communities . . . well, or dumping on their community.

But there is a lot of money to be made with these coins.  TRADE should do something similar.  Get MN's.  Create buzz around it.  Get on ranking sites. Grow the community. 

It all rests on Mark and if he can deliver.  It's already been this long.  No point in selling the 25k TRADE I have for a tiny bit of btc.  I'll keep taking my chances  :D

Time for an update. Mark said he tested the MasterNode and it's working fine. MN release will be around Xmas!!!
First they will do SCORE (probably DEC 25) about 2 days later TRADE. Coin swap is 1:1 let's wait and see what will happen.

Ok here an explanation. at first the decision for a coin swap was made because it was easier for the coding. After the coinswap there are two differenct coins.
 Tradecoin with POW, and Tradecoin with MN but both coins are running on a different chain. the new MN trade need to be relisted to an exchange. mark will pay for that new exchange. (not sure what exchange, don't expect cryptopia because thats 30k listing)
there is no need to worry just chill and wait.

You're avoiding my question. I've understood that there will be a coins swap and I don't mind. What I do mind is that Trade and Score will not merge, there will still be two separate coins that both don't have even a single usecase. So why not merge them and have one stronger coins than two weak ones

If that is your question. there is a simple answer. Tradecoin and Scorecoin are two completly different coins. there isn't a way to merge this two coins to one coin.
What you want is the same as merging bitcoin and Digibyte... both have sha256 but total different coins. score and trade are from the same dev but are completly different.

Yeah they can not be merged like Score with pow and score with master nodes hence the coin swap... If this simple question can't be answered I think all hope is lost then. But that was to be expected

The sister coin, SCORE, just had a swap done.   TRADE is going to be having swap soon as well.   If you own TRADE, be sure to keep an eye here for the next few weeks or you might miss out.   People know swap is coming and with that, price will go up because people preparing for masternodes.   Get it cheap while you can and closely follow upcoming announcements.
