Auction Terms

- Shipping is 6$ per coin, it can't be combined.
- Buyer should pay within 48hours from auction end.
- Starting bid for each coin is 0.1 BTC
- Bid increments should be of at least 0.01 BTC
- Bids don't include the 0.02003 BTC needed to fund each coin, it should be supplied by buyer on top of the wining bid, this coins will not be sold unfunded.
- Buyers should bid for each individual coin like #5 0.5BTC, or for the lot using the method 5@0.5 (That means that buyer bids 0.5BTC for each coin)
- Numbers auctioned are: #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8 #9 #10 #38.44

Note that coin 38.44 will be unique, and different from the rest. Not showing any pick, and will probably ship a bit later than the rest. It will be pretty special though...

Of course they are fake (there is at least 1 "cyclops" account bidding in here). Look at the CI trust ratings. He has used shills to bid in the past, which is pretty much illegal in any first world country. Therefore, he's a criminal who's playing the same play again. I can't think of a single rational reason for which anyone sane would participate in this auction (or the sale of new CI product for that matter). This leads me to believe that those who do, are either ignorant or delusional.

First off: What would they stand to gain to do anything like that? And what could it possibly have to do with extortion?

Secondly: Further discredit CI? I'm fairly confident that he discredited himself when he got caught with shill bidding on his own coins to increase the price. When he was found out he first denied it saying that it was some sort of associate that did this.

Thirdly: Why anyone reputable here still buys these coins is beyond me. Really. Here you have a coinmaker that was found out on basically scamming the community, yet everyone seems to be okay with that? It's a real shame when I read through the names on the list of bidders. Shame on all of you and shame on CI for still making coins and afaik never even really admitting to the faults in public, let alone apologizing (not that it would mean much).

But then again this is the collectibles community, and it has been shown time and time again that people really do not care what goes on, as long as they can buy the latest stuff they don't mind users scamming, thieving or blackmailing.

Can you all delete your non-bidding-relevant posts and keep this thread on topic only please?  Take your arguments elsewhere plz...

EDIT: I get that a lot of people may be knee deep in CI coins. But that really does not justify what happened, and defending it is almost worse.

edit: CI i would like for you to look at fakeaccounts post history and see that he has 4 posts in two years. whether he is a legit bidder or not you should require these funds put into escrow before accepting his bids. i do believe it is just somebody trying to derail your auction based on past history. it worked and i apologize for aiding in also derailing.

I would love to bid, but can't bring myself to place an offer against such a suspicious character with the name "FakeAccount", who has shown very little interest in the collectibles section before and could quite easily be a shill account because of the manufacturers past activities. I have a feeling this auction will be quietly cancelled and the items relisted, when this one "buyer" doesn't come through. It is concerning you won't even do basic verification on the large amount of bids.

Let fakeaccount have them and bid on the next coin that comes out from CI if you want.  

This one is 10g of silver so chances are the next coin will be a larger amount of precious metal and at 0.13BTC minimum not incl. funding I can't say it's a bargain.

Due diligences have been taken to asure that "FakeAccount" will honor his bids.

No need to go to further conjectures and conspiracy around the auction.

Not trying to nitpick your auction but I'm wondering if the multiple bumps in a 1 hour period is allowed via forum rules?  I was under the impression a bump was only allowed once every 24 hours and I haven't done multiple countdown bumps similar to the above on my own auctions.

If countdown bumps are allowed I'm going to start using them as well in the closing hour.   8)

They are against the rules. What made you think that this criminal cares about the forum rules? Anyone who even remotely thought that said entity did, would display a high degree of naivety. CI has repeatedly done this in his other sales/auctions. The primary reason for which he/she/them haven't been banned is because the forum moderation is utter trash ATM (and has been for the last 2 years).

Signing them doesn't really matter.. However posting incorrect ones and blaming electrum and then posting "correct" ones with a perfect back story seems a bit too convenient.

I guess we'll never know, unless fakeaccount starts auctioning off all of the coins he won.

I know, I know!  People really don't like to be wrong.  And you are wrong. And you just can't admit it and let it go.  It really doesn't matter what CI answers with, it's never good enough. The answers are not good enough because you are wrong with your assumptions and you can't admit it.  Sad.

It's a bit insane to demand tx ids, signed messages only to get them (this is bitcoin tech after all) and then proclaim, no!, not good enough.  The fact is, you all asked these questions with the hope of never getting the answer so that you could point to the lack of answers and say: "Aha! we are right!" Well, instead that didn't happen, but you must save face, right? So, you must press on with ridiculous statements and denials that someone (me) bought out most of the auctioned of coins  :-*.

I do find it hilarious that the handle of my account makes a bunch of you believe that it's a fake account! Perhaps this is due to spending too much time behind a keyboard and the lines behind real world and online are all just blurred for you?

Please come and talk to me again once you have actually spent some time on the forum other than 2 posts in two separate auction threads in 12 months.
