You can see this if you compare volumes on mtgox and btcex. There are a fair share of humans with little money and no job and they are not all in Russia. Some live near me and some near you but they are watching TV probably. Half of all millionaires in Europe reside in Russia- 100 Billionaires reside in Russia- There is great potential for Bitcoin usage in Russia, in my opinion; still needing to reach a tipping point fair enough but I find it quite encouraging and positive- Title: Re: Nice spike in Google trends ! The Last 12 months has seen fantastic uptrend in popularity. I still remember the first peak from Slashdot. We're at all time highs, and searching "bitcoin,liberty reserve" (http://www.google.com/trends?q=bitcoin%2Cliberty+reserve&ctab=0&geo=all&date=ytd&sort=0) you can see that bitcoin now is more searched for than liberty reserve.
