Title: Polo removing these coins
Post by: shamzblueworld on April 19, 2017, 03:48:53 AM
So just saw this notice on poloniex

On May 2, 2017, the following will be delisted: BBR, BITS, C2, CURE, HZ, IOC, MYR, NOBL, NSR, QBK, QORA, QTL, RBY, SDC, UNITY, VOX, XMG

Do you own any of these? What are you gonna do now? Sell or withdraw to your wallets?

That is an odd thing to do while some of these coins are pumping, unless it was them pumping the likes of MYR, RBY, NOBL, right before they give them the Axe.

It all smells a bit fishy

I owned C2 , NSR and UNITY but now   I am really worried with these altcoins Because in transaction from.one place to another will result into loss and Secondly I bought these at high rate but now Currently at low rate .
I am at Poloniex from 3 months and facing many altcoin delist but never got a y such problem in yobit .
now I am thinking to go again in yobit :(
Beside these I am also thinking that why not to buy those altcoins which are famouse and trade in that altcoins are really big and usually not go inactive .
In this way we will remain free to worry about the delist of the altcoins .

poloniex delisted coin, because is bad coin
volume transaction low, user community(minner) is low too
is good coin, good volume transaction , good user community, poloniex is never delisted

if another exchanger support coin, you can withdraw and sell another exchanger, but if never exchanger accepted you can sell it youre coin

For the coin holders : Wait

All the coin that are meant to be delisted, there was two coins among them that were insanely pump afterwhile. ( 18 hours later, Ruby and Qtl).

If you are selling in a panic sell at the end of the panic gosh.... Youll lose more than ever.

The best suggestion I would tell you is to wait the calm after the storm, be patient. Think that you would do have to sell them, but right now is the worst moment.

I am incredibly lucky, I owned CURE like until only before 1 hour of notification, sold it with some little profit and one hour later boom it drops to oblivion.

I think this move is amazing because Poloniex never wanted to be an exchange where all coins exchanged, they are getting rid of all pump&dump coins and getting coins like PivX and so forth to get more valuable coins on their exchange.

In my book i like what poloniex is doing. It makes there brand more valuable to me and shows that if you want to have legit alt currency with decent future than poloniex listing goes a long way.

It is just an indication that these are bad coins already. You can still risk your investment and move your coins on other exchanges or your own wallet. But in my opinion, it is better if you dump those coins already.

Some one needs to make a Coin that implodes if it fails to meet certain milestone like adoption/trading volume/price etc etc... than the coin and network just deletes everything

saving peoples time.

I was not long on poloniex and I have something RBY and do not have a wallet for them-
Does it have some good online multicoin wallet that it supports Rubycoin?
Or to transfer them to bittrex?

LOL, VOX is the youngest coin to get delisted.

HZ, IOC - both heavily shilled back in 2015 and 2016. Buh bye.

Don't have balance of that specified coin to be delisted on Poloniex but if that's the case, it's better to move those coins at other exchanges that have a certain wallets for them.

Specifically, due to the fact that they established a low volume @ Poloniex, continue their journey at other exchanges and expect that their volumes there will slightly bring up. If they want to dump then it's also fine.
