Title: mtgox/bitcoin wallet qt/freebies Post by: rival4653 on April 26, 2013, 09:55:53 PM I opened a bitcoin qt wallet and have 98% of the block chain downloaded. I sent a transfer to my wallet from mtgox. I also participated in the freeebie sites. I open my wallet and have a grand total of zero coins. Am I missing something or does it actually take a long time to receive my coins.

The free-Bitcoin sites often send the BTC after a day or even a week (and some not at all). Title: Re: mtgox/bitcoin wallet qt/freebies Post by: rival4653 on April 26, 2013, 10:04:06 PM Ok, so I have to be fully updated to see my transfers every time?
