Basically there isn't much sides to a cube, same goes for porker games and any other gambling game. There are only a few things you can offer that ain't already been done. For me, no buy in tournaments and deposit bonuses are on my list. Though maybe we'll see some more creative ideas here.

I think deposit bonuses are quite good. They are good for the gamblers since they have more money to really play with and they will be glad to have more chances of winning because of the bonus. This is good for the site since you still will offer this by giving a roll-over requirement for the bonus.

Jackpot, but not only for Royal Flush. This is what I experienced in my local poker gambling sites, they offer a variable jackpot. Players can win something with FullHouse, 4 of Kind, Straight Flush and ofc Royal Flush.
There is also daily competition where players are competiting with other players to gain chips as much as they can in 24hours. The unique thing is that players do not need to play for 24 hours, they can stop/start anytime as they wish.

More chips for a player who buys an amount that you will input or a freebie for a certain amount. Depends on the website decision.
I think it is a win win if you could pull a lot of players by that means.
There is not much freebies in poker we will all think about chips.
One more, if the player gets a very good hand like high straight flush or a quadra.

Deposit bonuses for playing with points are always nice to see for any website. It encourages more people to play.

As a poker player the number 1 thing you want to see is soft games so offering bonus or rakeback usually makes games tighter because people play for the rakeback or bonus.  Promotions should make people more degen so like maybe offer jackpots for winning hands with certain cards etc.

what i like to see is many freeroll with an actuall good reward that ancourage more newbie to come and play, new people don't like to invest in something new and unknown, give them the opportunity to play for free and win a lot, a welcome bonus is also good, like many room are doing in fiat money, they give $20 or something when you register, you can add that as a bonus for your poker room

Leaderboards are a win-win, because they motivate to play more, but why would anyone like to play at a new site?

I like the idea about leaderboards and also some sort of reward for those that got on it and maybe some rakeback would also be nice for the site and for the players as this motivates them to play more and boldly as they keep in mind the rakeback. Though, if asked to if I want to play at a new poker site, probably not but maybe if there would be enough reviews.

Okay. But this leaderboards will only be for those old players who have been playing a lot and dont need to spend because of their large amount of money.
I think it also needs to widen the reach to pull more players.
New players should also have bonuses whenever they buy chips. Somehow it could make them not regret any bought chips as long there is that promotion that is going on.

A good rakeback reward system.  For the poker site to have a winning strategy, it has to think of the players and the playing pool first.  If the players are happy with your site, the player pool will grow giving the site a healthy poker economy.

99% rakeback  ;D it's a win win situation  :)
since we are talking about a possible new site then the most important thing for me is the good design and to be able to hold some good tourneys at the start , cause none of the new poker sites in the btc community was able to succeed and most of them ended closing and scamming players funds
so let's first have a good site and then we can talk about the promos

If you're building a new website, I think it would be best to start out by adding multiple freeroll tournaments per day.
Definitely add some that have reasonably high prizes, it's one of the best ways to attract new players.

Definitely tourneys where the entry fee is either low or free and the winner doesn’t need to get any money in return, it can be win a chance at the seat of a bigger tourney. That way the website can still promote and don’t have to pay up a single cent. Win-Win for both the player and the site.

The only thing that poker need to do is of course make some tournaments routine and it is a must thing to do. But may be I can suggest something like daily small event and big prize on weekeneds or may be monthly so people will keep on playing it here. But I do not think that it is a win-win solution if you want to be part of this, whether site owner gets a lot or player wins a lot, just as simple like that

Rakeback is the key. Rakeback races for the best rakers.

Offer the best rakeback to start with and market the site well.

Critical mass is everything for poker.

The most important thing for me is rakeback ,
In addition to that you can do a Leaderboard , as a MTT player I like MTT leaderboards , where points depend on your performance at MTT and not only on BuyIn.
Freerolls are always nice , but they should be only accessable by players who raked XmBTC ... else there are to many players who only play freerolls.

A lot of sites also offer sattelites without Rake.

Other Promotions could be: A rake free Bad Beat Jackpot or Royal Flush Jackpot.

I think open a tournament free roll, with good prizes, and initiating a unlimited rebuy add on. That can be the only option as I can think of.

I would be up for a poker league. Players would pay the buy in tournaments, so that would be good for the poker house (although there should be some freerolls as well). They could then win points from each tournament, based on their finishing positions in the various tournaments.
At the end of the League, they would receive some prizes on top of the winnings they already had form the tournaments (this would be the win part for players, that would get extra prizes for playing).
