One thing i know is that Nigerians are desperate people and they can do more than expected once something good is shown to them, last two months it was recorded that a company produced 10 very expensive cars and 8 of it are in Nigeria already, Back to what am trying to say, must nigerias have heard about bitcoin but have been asking one question since, which is: How can i spend it here in Nigeria.
So i started a project where Nigerians can buy bitcoin atm, pos and also sell their stuff in exchange for bitcoin, project was lauched 3 days ago and we alredy have 60 persons requesting for the bitcoin atm card, so am looking for partner or sponsor who can make this company a big one

Many company dont sell bitcoin atm card to Nigerians because our government will fight against it, but if the government sees someone in the country selling it, we would only be told to pay tax which am ready to do.

I guess nowadays it is very important to show everyone that cryptocurrency society is transparent, so i agree that it is much better to discuss the project right here.
Though i am interested also, maybe there was a reason not to release information now, i guess we'll see

i think the OP needs to explain more like members said above me to avoid misunderstanding with the project because more people will not understand what kind of project that the OP started. so if the OP wants to asked more people, i think more explanation and more details will be better and this will make people understand what OP wants.

From my calculations, if this project is advertised well in Nigeria, the value of btc should hit 3000$ this year and about 5000$ next year

It does seem like a very odd suggestion though, since we don't have proper details of your business or anything.  Posting what you're going to do isn't actually an indication that you'll do it - I'm sure that idea cost a lot less for you to come up with than what you want people to "invest" in it.

OP, please don't be discouraged by some comments. If you are doing something good, please continue and develop your ideas and business.

I have some small suggestions here. If you want to find partners for your project, I recommend that you publish the information you need, at least the form of the project, which will make it easier for people to visualize and approach.

Look i understand you are trying to work and make a living. Just make sure you do not do it at the expense of tricking/misleading other people.

The best way to start project in Negeria, is to incorporate in Singapore, or Switzerland and move there with entire team.
Otherwise only few will send pennies to ico prince.
Negative country image works unfortunately for legal and white hat projects.

No offense but isn't that a great deal of money compared to the gross national product there? I only bring this up because if that's your native country you could do a great amount of change and good with in your own country by simply investing it right there. maybe your project is doing that very thing, I just see that amount of money if it's legitimate as being a very powerful force with in your country.

I do not know if I should believe in his project, I often do not have the impression of projects that value their own. "billion," I really do not like this word.

I do know many people are becoming aware about cryptocurrencies in Africa and Nigeria in particular. 1 billion is what many people we like to find out the plan and for you to asure them if this project is going to be successful. I will advise that you should published your plan and if possible make available your white papers so that we would understand you very well. I will also advise you that you should mainly focus your fund raising on your country men as there are a lot of bitcoin's Enthusiasts in Nigeria and if you project and Idea is ok then expect many to pick interest on it.

Omo 9ja, I guess you are learning Business 101 by now.
 1. You are going to get a lot of flak, just for mentioning Nigeria, and that in itself is a big caveat.  Because of the negative reputation of the country. All you should have done first is to sell your idea.
2. Every business proposition involves a form of risk. Everyone weighs the risk vs reward ratio, before deciding if to plunge in or take off. You will do well, if you can offer some assurances that could mitigate the risks. Have a detailed plan, this is what will attract investors.
3. A billion dollar project, is a tall order, even jumia, konga, remitano or luno don't do that volume of transaction. Although telcos like mtn etc are funneling that out of Nigeria and shoprite too.
4. Do your home work properly, sometimes you can run your idea solo and you don't need to crowd your head with unnecessary distractions from a bunch of jokers.
5. Start small and gradually grow your business.
6. Regardless of what people may say many investors have found out that Nigeria is a great place to do business but those who are looking for get rich quick schemes will be scammed. The IQ of an average Nigerian is 1000% LOL :D

Such a great investment needs to be registered.  Giving something that is a lot of worth need proofs.  Something you can depend or a legal entity to at least you can chase someone in cases of fraud.  So before anything else, let it be registered in your Securities and Exchange commission if you have one and atleast you must present you feasibility study of the project..

Why do there are lots of newbies discussing putting up money on the imaginary project? They are talking already millions on their investment. Seriously? and the thing here is that a billion dollar project thats huge but in OP didnt mention anything about the project if it would be worth it or not and later on newbies telling that they would plan to invest?
