Which ever state you be in India the electricity cost will always be high as compared to you looking for returns to generate while mining in India. Its not at all feasible in India unless you can get electricity for free.

Are you looking for mining cryptocurrencies?  :)
Do you have an ingenious way to mine crypto currencies at a lower cost. :) The price is really high for me to try mining as i am getting a bill of above 1000 rupees per month and if i start mining it will simply increase my monthly budget which i think is not feasible and more over the climate here is not conducive to mining as you need to spend money for that too. Goa and Pondicherry have the lowest rates in India.

It is obvious that the union territories will have the cheapest rates as the state taxes are less there compared to others, but if you want to mine then I would suggest you to equip yourself with solar energy because it may be a one time investment but it's better than govt electricity.

From what I searched on the Internet, it was said that punjab is having the best rates for industrial electricity among other industrial states.

So most probably I'll make my own mining farm in Punjab in a few years.

This will specifically depend if India decides to allow use of btc or not. If it decides to other way then there will not be any mining taking [place in India since it would be illegal in coming time then.

It will not be illegal ,major companies are using blockchain technology and taking initiative to progress india development in digital world.even if they somehow put restriction on btc as there was black money holding in btc case in past.they cant not restricted all virtual currency.

Governments don't support cryptocurrencies, they support the idea behind them, i.e. The Blockchain.
But there are many licensed bitcoin related companies running in India, and most probably government will support bitcoin.

Govt has clarified it that they have not authorized or given any license to run bitcoin in India. On the other hand they have also said that all are doing at their own risk. they will not allow any currency just created by somebody and controlled by none to blossom in India.

India is not feasible country for mining. Even if cost is low, there will be additional burden from cooling considering temperature. 😎

How about an underground mining facility with air conditioners working from solar energy??
I was thinking of building a mining farm with around 100 antminer s9 initially and when I would have break even I'll expend the mining farm.
Just collecting the initial amount required for it. And I know it will take a lot of time and I'm hoping that government doesn't start taxing bitcoins.

That's right. I never recommend individuals to go for mining as you will loose more than what you gain. Better is the case, you make cooperative, partnership or company and go for cumulative mining. Pooling of resources will reduce the cost and generate the possible profits.

Electricity cost in India? The cost of electricity can be divided into plant-level costs, grid-level costs, and other costs. Plant-level costs consist of capital, operation and maintenance, and fuelling cost. Capital cost is reflected in the cost of generation by way of interest on debt and return on equity. For nuclear power plants, capital cost is high, but fuelling cost is low. For coal-fired power plants, capital cost is low, but fuelling cost is high. The capital cost of solar and wind is continuously decreasing; fuelling cost is nil.
