Title: A transaction has stuck for around 6 hours Post by: pissing on May 03, 2017, 08:58:11 PM I use a blockchain wallet and I have a transaction which has not been see yet. I have used bitcoin off and on for a long time but only have a simple understanding of how they work.
Is it just a case of waiting and waiting? Would there come a time when you would think I should worry? For the median transaction size of 226 bytes, this results in a fee of 54,240 satoshis. It should go through eventually (0-1260 minutes) with the fee you paid if you just wait it out. Or, you can try to put your transaction into a transaction accelerator to try and speed it up. I will wait until tomorrow as I dont know much about accelerators and if it is still stucj tomorrow Ill see what I can do. Title: Re: A transaction has stuck for around 6 hours Post by: erikalui on May 03, 2017, 09:27:32 PM You don't have to worry about the confirmation of your transaction as many times transactions get stuck even if the right fee is paid. Use https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ to accelerate your transaction (Just enter your transaction ID and the captcha code). I tried adding your transaction ID but it has reached its limit right now. You can try later.
PS: It's safe to post transaction IDs. Title: Re: A transaction has stuck for around 6 hours Post by: LeGaulois on May 04, 2017, 11:42:30 AM Since some days, I am receiving transactions that get unconfirmed still 2 days after. This tool of ViaBTC.com has a system allowing a maximum of 100 pushh per hour, wich is very low. At the end 99.9% of the time when you try you see the message "max limit reached..." or something like that. I have been able to test it only 1 time, for nothing spectacular.
