Is it gonna burst and die or burst into something big... What do you think of the project? Is it worth the investment?
Any possibility of coming into top 20-40 any time soon in the marketcap? Its currently at 97.

I find it a nice project, and while not ready for top 20 it seems it should be on top of a lot of the dead/scam coins. Maybe it's just too crowded to get attention - or something else is lacking? Really baffled here. So I would also be curious of educated opinions.

Yes, Burst is definitely underrated and undervalued. I've been watching it for several months and it's one of those hidden gems with a small but excellent community, and they are actually doing something innovative (HDD mining) instead of just cloning another coin's features or promising the next big thing without any real code.

If you look at the chart for the last few months, Burst always grows steadily. It might fluctuate a bit in BTC value (all alts do), but I have high confidence it will always grow in USD value.

I agree, and that is what I noticed and why I created this thread.
It has looked steady and on an upwards direction from past few week. And I also agree with the comment above, it could be that the hype of other coins is much at the moment and also it is too crowded maybe that is why its on a steady route but I feel it will definitely experience a big hop on the rise soon.

It's not even that small as a community if you compare it to other cryptos - e.g. their forum (https://forums.burst-team.us/) is way more active than Peercoin or Namecoin. There are a lot of essentially dead coins on top.
And I find it's generally a good thing for a crypto if it gives users something to participate with. As with Ethereum where users can program things. Here it's the unique mining setup.

I don't want to say anything bad about Burst. I had some but I sold because the speed of transactions pissed me off. It is so slow.

Burst is one unique coin that is in my opinion undervalued . But i think there is a reason for that I tried to mine burst couple month ago and just gave up . It really need big investment and the ROI is really slow . It is really good for someone who already own ( BIG space HDD ) and want to make money with it .

Burst is a really cool project with a lot of good ideas.
The low-energy proof of capacity mining is a great idea if we are going to have crypto for long-term use in the future.
They have a nice all-in-one wallet/ miner, and the asset exchange is another interesting feature.

I'm really surprised its not more popular. I think its worth owning some since the price is still cheap but has been slowly rising.

It is an interesting concept,proof of space which is really unique and they have a gambling site which uses bustcoin and they are listed in the major exchanges now and the price have increased in the past few weeks but i am not sure whether they could break into the top twenty in near future but with time it can gain momentum.

Nah, I don't see top 20 for now - some major development or deal would be necessary. 
But top 40 or 50 seems reasonably in the cards if I compare Burst to the competition. Which would still be double or triple of what it is - even with today's jump.

Burst is looking very good at the moment and has been for the past week now. I have always said that this coin is undervalued for many months now and finally it's starting to get some attention currently over 330 sats in the last 24 hours and over 2,000 BTC. That is huge for a coin that was only averaging around 20 to 50 BTC daily. I'm sure we will see 1,000 sats by the end of the year and maybe even sooner by the way things are going lately.

At 476 sats now. I think it 550 today. Still undervalued. I can see it easily reaching 1k sats by the end of the week

^ what he said, I bought STR at 0880 & sold at 2400 to jump onto Burst at 350ish & expect it to hit 1000 pretty soon.
I've bet $2k on it.. so I'll either have more money in the pot for beers next week or I'll be getting the Mrs to buy them instead! :)

Most of the people are predicting same thing because it will touch the 1k sats. Burst is also one of the good project where it has potential to reach it's greater than as expected. 

Burst shows good gains. Also I guess it's more miner's coin than trader's one. This means supply will prevail in long term. Anyway, wishing profitable trading.

I made a post just like this about 2 weeks ago where I said that Burst was severely undervalued and should at least double in price pretty soon. Really wish I could find it again. It's a great coin. I really have no idea why it was so cheap

Same here mate as I have been saying this for a very long time now that Burst was undervalued and that it would hit 500 sats some time this year and even 1,000 sats in the near future. Well at the rate it is going we could see 1,000 sats in the next week or so which would be huge for Burst as it deserve to be worth at least 1,000 sats.

I agree. I'm so glad I bought them up a few months back.. Sometimes you just see a coin like this and know for certain it's going to climb a lot higher than it is. 130 or so is what I bought most of mine for. I figured it should be about 10x that. Looks like it may be after all

Yes that's why many experts are saying you need to be very patient when you are trading with Crypto Currency. But at cheap price and hold it for some and you will make good profit with Crypto Currency.

That feels crazy ... wasn't Burst just around 80 or lower when I wrote this not even two days ago? It reached exactly spot 40 for a hot minute there. Well, whoever is pushing this can still prove me wrong with a bit of effort ;D

bust was a good target indeed the value was very low, i think investors are targetting very low value coins, and boost them 10x, but i'm afraid it will not last and only be a pump and dump like with machinecoin, pumped from 100 satoshi to 800, exactly like burst from 100 to 800, and now machiencoin is at 400, i would take profit now and buy cheap later

Well done my friend, I'm the same as you however I got in when Burst was at 30 sats in June last year and have been buying as many Burst coins each week ever since. I have invested most into the Burst assets but I do have a fair bit to sell which I sold some at 850 sats and bought back in at around 760 sats to add to my bag. People will say to sell now which I agree but Burst still has a long way to go before it's true value is reached which is easily over 1,000 sats. It's a great time to be mining this coin.

I wouldn't worry too much about the current pull back in price as i'm sure it won't be long before we see Burst rising once again. This pull back has given me a chance to load up on more Burst coins as I believe Burst will one day soon reach 1,000 sats. 500 sats could be the new floor for Burst so we shall see in the coming days if it is or not.

it's undervalued.the ETH and burst could provide the system to support other Altcoin,but the ETH is raise fast,
however ,the burst's price is lower than other coin which as a system coin,so it's a small dangerous to invest.

Have you thought about investing into mining hardware instead of directly buying the coin. I have been researching the different types of hard drives and which will bring best gb/price ratio. Also do you know a place where I can get better deal than amazon.co.uk. Where are you buying your hdds from?
