Bitcoin is Not a Ponzi, Tulip Bulb, or Beanie Baby

What a great article, excellent work Chase. Educational material like this is exactly what the industry needs to ensure people are well informed about digital currency. If we make sure that everyone has access to this kind of information, we are helping prevent investors from being defrauded by bad actors. When someone is scammed, it all but eliminates the chances that they will invest in another digital currency venture.

That was a good read. Thanx. How often do you plan similar releases in future?

Thanks Vincentius, we plan to make several submissions per month depending on the availability of our writers.

Hi!

Thanks for sharing the article above.

I agree that in order to evolve, we have to be welcoming to the changes that are confronting us. Perhaps we should consider studying about a new idea rather than automatically think of it as a scam or a fraudulent scheme.

I have formally studied about Ponzi Scheme, Pyramiding, and the like but nothing in it really correlates to the idea of Bitcoins. Bitcoins does not have products to sell, as it is a commodity in itself. It neither does require recruitment of people for it to earn income and thereby distribute it to its members. Having mentioned a few of its characteristics, I can conclusively say that the above accusations are baseless which are aimed at persecuting Bitcoins' proliferation in the international market.

Great points Qartersa. Existing power structures have a sense of just how disruptive Bitcoin and blockchain technology can be. It should be taken as a positive sign that some are willing to go to such lengths to smear our industry, they are truly scared that we will take food off of their table. The sad part is a large portion of the general public takes this defamation of Bitcoin as gospel, and unless we actively work to educate the public they may never see the truth.
