I'm sure they are sending mass emails and hoping someone without Antivirus opens the document so they can install a keylogger ect. Title: Re: BitcoinTalk Emails HACKED Post by: squatz1 on May 10, 2017, 02:32:53 PM Probably just preying on people to simply not notice and just click on an attachment as the person feels afraid, it's the pretty common scam these days as people feel as if they don't click they could be missing out on finding something vital. This is something that is going on at the moment when it comes to Google Docs, as they're spreading some sort of virus through this platform which get some people to actually do it based on the fact that they hack emails of people you know and spread.
This kinda opens the window for people to go ahead and just open it as they think it's from a friend. Pretty sad to see people coming to this, but with the BTC price so high you kinda expect it.
