I got this today via email addressed to my former BCT user name which I do not use elsewhere:

See attached your BTC-e codes.

You have to use it within 4 days.

The Pass key is 2LXK9Oym. You need to type it to be able to open the document.

The cause of this probably is the database hack that happened some two years ago. I received a btc-e code email but didn't even bothered to open it.

Sounds like an Office document with macro malware?
I'm sure they are sending mass emails and hoping someone without Antivirus opens the document so they can install a keylogger ect.

Probably just preying on people to simply not notice and just click on an attachment as the person feels afraid, it's the pretty common scam these days as people feel as if they don't click they could be missing out on finding something vital. This is something that is going on at the moment when it comes to Google Docs, as they're spreading some sort of virus through this platform which get some people to actually do it based on the fact that they hack emails of people you know and spread.

This kinda opens the window for people to go ahead and just open it as they think it's from a friend. Pretty sad to see people coming to this, but with the BTC price so high you kinda expect it.

Someone is really using the database to get some. Guys gotta serious amount of time to spend time like this . ;P

I am sure trusted accounts coming back after a long time of inactivity and this has a connection. This really needs to be dealt with.
