Post by: ArthurY on May 12, 2017, 08:38:21 AM
Community and Bitcoin news portals
This message is addressed to Bitcoin core developers
We should stop spamming of Bitcoin network
Look at it
https://blockchain.info/address/3QQB6AWxaga6wTs6Xwq8FYppgrGinGu15f
I want to propose just block addresses like this one which spamming network
No. Transactions 186644
And it's cost like just $20 000
If it's will continue Bitcoin just can die
It is necessary to optimize the network. Soon it can become larger. It is necessary to make it faster
Or Ethereum will be first currency in our business
Why we need that?
Bitcoin forever and rich hah

Now we have 167903 unconfirmed transactions. To transfer money from one wallet to another I spent money like in PayPal
So what is this? O.o

It's should be stopped

You cant blacklist addresses, that is insane.

The point of having a fixed blocksize is to put a rule that everyone has to follow, and to stop idiots from wasting money into spamming the network. Unfortunately there are idiots with a lot of money out there (Roger Ver for example) to waste with spamming.

All we can do is to wait until they run out of money.

ok let me just ask you a couple of questions.
1. why ethereum?
it is centralized, buggy, and is not even supposed to be a currency as the developer himself has said.
+ it is a pump and dump altcoin
+ it is heavily manipulated
+ coin distribution has never been fair.
+ it had an ICO which mainly acted as its premine, so we can safely say it is a premined coin!

2. what is stopping people from doing the same with ethereum?
the blockchain size of ethereum is already bigger than bitcoin blockchain and even if the block size is not an issue the blockchain size will be.

3. who said these transactions are spam?
not saying they are or aren't but these are transactions that anybody can make. (there is a problem with this particular address that makes it spam but i want to hear your answer first)

roger ver will never run out of money. he'll still be spamming when we're dead and gone.

if i remember correctly litecoin has some type of mechanism that stops this. can anyone remember what it is?

Fundamental analysis suggests that the Etherium will be more capitalized soon. Bitcoin lacks speed and economy at this moment
