Title: Please dump it
Post by: Impros88 on May 12, 2017, 08:43:46 AM
I have lost the run since I sold all my btc exactly the day before the rise. Now I want to come back but price is too high. Please tell the Chinese to make a dump so I can join again. Thanks

In my personal opinion, things are already getting beyond the Chinese influence here since the surge of Bitcoin in recent days is due to the emergence of Japan as another mega-hub for Bitcoin. Japan is poised to open many exchanges in the coming months and they can all influence the price of Bitcoin. So if I were you, i would be buying all the Bitcoin I can afford now in the hope that soon we would be seeing Bitcoin value to be normally at the $2000 level.

Chinese must also be so happy with the continuing rise of Bitcoin that is why they are not dumping but instead also buying in anticipation of generating profits.

Well, there's the regret, I don't know the reason you sold your bitcoin, but I think the one who bought it is so happy right now with his/her profit. We don't know when will be the next dump might happen, but I don't think I will be seeing the $1000 bitcoin price again, I think it may dump but it will be just in $1300.

haha, this topic is so funny.
have you even checked the Chinese prices lately! I suggest checking it out when you got the time, go and convert the CNY price to USD or any other fiat currency you like and compare them.
hint: CNY price is about 20 to 30 percent lower than any other price, so if Chinese could do anything they would start buying the shit out of bitcoin and price would shoot up even more.

You need to learn the fact real investors are INCREDIBLY patient and to always buy when there s blood in the streets. If you cannot cope with that kind of pressure, I feel crypto trading s not something you should be involved in.

You only have yourself to blame for selling when there are so many positive news around . With the higher amounts of Initial Coin Offerings as well as both Japan already legalizing Bitcoins with Bic camera largest seller of camera related products in japan with brick and mortar stores accepting bitcoins and with Australia going to treat bitcoin just like money in the sense that people will no longer be taxed twice on bitcoins or cryptos in general. All this positive stuff raises interest in cryptos and btc, only a retard honestly will sell existing holdings that they have.

I tell you the feeing is the same everywhere but unfortunately, you cannot take it back. That's the way the market is configured where some people will lose while others will win. I am sure you must have made some profit because at the time you bought it, the price must have been lower compared to the amount you sold it. That's why I always settle in my mind before selling to be sure if I am ready to face whatever happen to price afterwards.

I feel the same as you. When I sell cheaper and the current price is too high. quite regret. but I do not impose to buy at high prices. but I took a chance in trading altcoin. When prices of bitcoin rise very high, the prices of altcoin down.

Bro, this is why you've got to understand how to properly invest. Think Berkshire Hathaway not Wolf Of Wall Street.

The whole point of crypto and the blockchain is to succeed over the long run vs Fiat currencies. Day trading and shorting cryptocurrency is NOT a long-term strategy.

If you are lucky the media might shake prices up later this month, but only a fool would treat crypto like stocks. Lesson learned the hard way.

No need to regret with the decision that has been taken, if you still have the money to buy again it doesn't matter
I ever thought like that when the price of Bitcoin down to $ 800, I I will wait for the price down to $ 600 and buy back, but apparently it doesn't happen that there is more High
So buy again and never think you will lose, because Bitcoin something that has a value higher than the current price

Now that you mention it since Bitcoin is so scarce (but also can be bought anywhere, anytime - unlike Gold), the higher it goes up, the more valuable it becomes. And the more valuable it becomes, the higher the price goes up  ;D

Maybe you could start change your thought to the opposite direction. That is, why not to buy any bitcoin you can afford now and forget it in the long term, or maybe you can offer good or services and pay you with bitcoins.

I think this is beyond the control of Chinese now. Look, Japan already accepting bitcoin, the Philippines and now according to cointelegraph, Australia is joining the situation. It is clear, bitcoin is becoming mainstream. You can always buy again when there is market correction.

I think you should better start buying at the current price and learn how to hold th next time. It's these panic selling attitude that makes the prices unstable and so if you've learnt your lessons you're better off buying some back now than hoping for the worst because if it keeps going higher and higher you'd blame yourself forever.

I think the Chinese is not in fault why the price is pumping up so much than ever before, I guess it is a result of the users that use bitcoin and trying to invest their money in the digital currency. I can relate with what happened to you, but the difference is, I did not aold my bitcoin, I used it to pay my debt, but then again it is worth it because I have no debt right now. Still if I didn't pay it and wait for another pump, I think there will be left in my bitcoin right now.

You can still join the boat because the target price of most of the investors and traders is about 2000 USD and you can buy bitcoins now and keep them until the price of 2000 USD and you can sell to secure your profits and start to demand a dump again ::).

Guy you need to count your losses and move on. If you didnt lose this unearned income how will someone else make profit and thats how  it is because you also must have made some profit from the time you bought it till now and that person would have been in your shoes considering the increment that must have happen to price since you bought it from him. If you are confident that the price will increase, just get more now then sell later. Its a risk but its worth the shot.

Before the price down to 800 dollars i trully believe that many people would buy on 1000 dollars including myself, i regret deeply when i sold most of my bitcoins when the price was 280 dollars it's kind of funny if you counted all of your bitcoins whether you spend it or holding it to the price at this point. If you are long term holder i think you might buy some right now as much as you can cause many people predict that the price would be touch 2000 dollars or even more in this year i personally did it, buying bitcoin with my extra money even though the price is too high.

We should receive regret, it is our fault. Now, everything is out of control of everyone, the bitcoin market is at its peak, no one can predict anything. Although the value of bitcoin fluctuates constantly, however, it will never return as it did in the past. The value of bitcoin is at a new height.

You cant do anything about it if you missed the chance right now because you sold all your bitcoins then let it be move on and wait for the opportunity to invest again. as an investor, you need patient to gain from your investment, there is always another chance so wait for that time.

Definitely, the chinese know very well about the present situation that bitcoin control is no more in their hands and that they could not make the price drop by dumping their bitcoins.Even if they dump, they would have to lose their bitcoins to the hands of other people and there would be no change in bitcoin price. So you better buy bitcoin as much as you can now.Otherwise, you would be missing the train for second time also.

Educate yourself and don't blame anything. That's how market works.

It's your decision to sold all your bitcoin so face the consequences. Learn to make a strategy or just accept the risk when you make a decision. Bitcoin will always be like that so better be used to it.

I'm just curious in case the price of Bitcoin was starting to fall at what point would you buy it? How do you know it's the point from where it goes up? No one knows that. So my advice, if you want to have BTC buy it now, do not wait, because it's possible that it will be only rising from today.

Lol. Where have you been? The Chinese has no longer influence of the bitcoin market price. Japan, if you haven't heard it yet, has legalized bitcoin, meaning it has embraced it last month. So now they are the biggest traders on the market. And if you are looking for the price to dump below $900 now, it won't happened because bitcoin has now evolved and have been stable last couple weeks.

China began to lose influence with central bank inspections on the exchanges. Then Japan has snatched the site clearly. Where China still holds much power is in mining. It will be interesting to see if the price continues to rise and because of this, in other parts of the world are created other mining centers that help to decentralize the process.

The current line is still within the prediction of Tone Vays' technical analysis which predicts $2000 by around mid August, so this correction was expected since it was starting to break the upper channel, we are now back on track to keep going up, we can even afford further corrections.

I recommend taking a look at this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MJWkcIeMU0

It's a decent analysis, but he is bad predicting altcoins tho, he told people that people already took profits on LTC and it went higher. But I think we may see $2000 by mid summer and $1892 was not the peak.

Not everyone. Look at the big Bitcoin holders, those megawhales who own more than $1m in  Bitcoin, I don't see them dumping. Maybe they are playing with small cash trading a $100k back and forth for fun, but their millions are still sitting and waiting on those addresses, far away from any exchanges and the eyes of the government.

People on this forum use 'pump' and 'dump' far too indiscriminately, and it drives me nuts.  You can tell they learned everything they know about finance from this forum--which is frightening.

OP, I did much the same thing about two months ago when I spent all the bitcoin I had.  Not going to do that again.  I've always said bitcoin is lousy as a currency, and this is just one of the reasons why.  When money does this--gains value 50% overnight--it makes people not want to spend it.  And yeah, I'd wait before buying back in.  I think we're a little too high right now.

There are always going to be opportunities that you are going to miss. All you really need to do is hop on a few boats that are the rights ones and you'll be good.

There's still plenty of opportunity in crypto. I wouldn't worry too much - just keep learning.

A piece of advice: if you cannot buy, earn.

Expecting a dump from the current price is quite, I don't know, at a small probability, I guess? The demand for bitcoin is too high as of now and the price is totally soaring up. IF bitcoin's price gets dumped, well I prefer corrected than dumped, I think that it will be at its lowest possible drop. So instead of waiting for the correction, why don't you or anyone of you start earning bitcoin now and celebrate later. Earning is more profitable than buying since you involved your money at hand and earning bitcoin by work, heaven.

I guess it is time to buy some; price somehow dropped after reaching $1800, this seems to be a minor correction so definitely a chance to buy some cheaper Bitcoin.  I believe it will keep on rising for the next quarter. There are still several major companies in Japan that are wanting to participate in Bitcoin economy, and aside from that Pakistan seems to be interested in blockchain technology, and before they do that (to create their own) they need to study Bitcoin, and that will cater more interest from their citizen.

This happened to me to brother that is why I feel you. Nothing but regret in my mind thinking I should've waited. But you already made the decision so better just take it and get over it.

I have lost the run since I sold all my btc exactly the day before the rise. Now I want to come back but price is too high. Please tell the Chinese to make a dump so I can join again. Thanks

Why the chinese? Haven you realized yet that their trading volume was mostly fake?!
And I'm sorry to say that but to sell all yout bitcoin was dumb, unless you had to because of some serious issue or so.
Taking a bit of profit is ok, but with that potential Bitcoin is having, going 100% out is not very smart.
Now you see how it is to have to wait desperately just to get in again while the train continues driving upwards without you.
Yesterday you had a very good opportunity to buy in again. Hope you used it.
Let this be a lesson for you. One just not dump all it's Bitcoin!

Lol, I guess you are one of the panic sellers out there that is always selling their bitcoin whenever it is experiencing a dump. But just take it as a lesson, and I know you did. Dumping of bitcoin doesn't mean that you guys need to sell it or something, if you are thinking that you are going to lose profits on it? Yes, you are going to lose, but only if you are going to sell it all just like that.

It is just normal, and I hope you know that, because bitcoin's price is so volatile that is why we can't predict it correctly on when it is going to PUMP and DUMP. So, the wisest idea that we could do is to relax and just hold our bitcoin, and wait for the right time to convert it all.

Buy again then sell at higher price why not? if you don't want to buy it because the price is high and the risk if it arrives fall, you can earn bitcoin for free like sigcamp or provide other services with bitcoin payments.
