Title: why is there so many "scripted" complaints there days?!
Post by: RoommateAgreement on May 13, 2017, 03:30:27 AM
i am not talking about a new bitcoin user having trouble with fees and having their transacions (which they sent with low fee or received with low fee) unconfirmed. that is understandable.

what i am calling "scripted complaints" are those topics with the same theme. a newbie will never use some terms, talking about "moving on to an altcoin", "losing faith in bitcoin", "altcoins such as eth replacing bitcoin", "bitcoin not being ready for the big time",.... and many similar themed things.

i am getting convinced that these spam attacks can be coming from altcoiners. and from their recent massive pump they got more than enough money to do so.
even if i am wrong, this part is true: they are taking the most advantage from this situation.

whining in disguise!

When you combine a forum whereby you can get paid to post absolute garbage via signature campaigns with a worldwide populace, not all of whom understand English (no offense), AND the unlimited potential for alt accounts, this is what you get:  Threads that are mostly stupid, written by people who just want to earn money and don't give a shit what they're writing.

And a lot of them sound the same because these idiots parrot what they're able to comprehend on this forum, and they do this with multiple accounts.  So yeah, they're "scripted".  I totally agree, but I don't think it's any sort of conspiracy.

I don't think it's any sort of conspiracy.

maybe you need to read some of the topics bro:
some examples to make it easy for you:
bitcoin under spam attack => ethereum will replace it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1913661.0

bitcoin failed + not ready for big time => price falling to $100:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1914455.0

bitcoin is dead and unusable, i am replacing it with an altcoin in my business and refuse to say what my business is.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1912298.0

bitcoin is only for speculation
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1913590.0

these are a small group i found from previous days within last 4 pages. there are more.
and obviously i may be wrong about some of them, but out of 50 similar topics with same theme the chaces are low.

I have read those topics and I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you.  There are people who are pissed off at confirmation times, and rightfully so, and there are people who are pissed off at the miners' fees, too.  What do you want?  The threads you linked to don't jump out at me as being shilly, and those don't even seem to be the shitposts I was referring to.  They're pretty well-written.

Whiny, yes.  I just don't think they're coming out of some sort of illuminati anti-bitcoin, WTC7-destroying propaganda machine.  Or some such thing.  Perhaps I'm mistaken.

It's a repetition cycle more less it rotates over time if you go back to the beginning the same topics appear in a new form over time.
Examples:
Will Bitcoin ever see under 100 dollars again, Will Bitcoin ever see sub 1000 again, Will Bitcoin break $250, Will Bitcoin pass $1000, Will Bitcoin pass $2000
Bitcoin is dead because it crashed , Bitcoin is dead because Taxes , Bitcoin is dead because regulations
The newest ones are
Why is my transaction so slow , Why are fees so high , Where is Satoshi or I found Satoshi he is X Y Z cause Satoshi threads never end.
But if you did find something could put a meta up.

it is a train, and that train is called "let's (pretend to) hate bitcoin and hype our altcoins up as much as we can so in the end we can have so much more bitcoin from its pump". and it seems like many are on this train these days.
