We still have to wait a little more than a year to fully say the results and evaluate the work of the new president of the Donald Tramp. If you look at the bodies building With what zeal he began to change the new decisions taken by Obama, it seems that he is probably working against American citizens.

"Why do people like Trump?" isn't a question that asks for a "yes" or "no" response.

It's not just one reason or one reason for everyone, it's not that simple. But the collection of reasons include:

• He represents conservative "values" in a package that isn't the same old established "inside the beltway" Republican
• He promises everything and anything to a group of people that are desperate to see their worlds change but (A) don't know how and (B)
   don't bother to think through whether what Trump promises is actually possible. (E.g., people in many parts of the country want their manufacturing jobs back, Trump says he'll bring them back, he may bring some back but if he does those people needing the jobs won't be able to afford their products they produce. More likely, he's not bringing any jobs back...it's just too expensive to manufacture anything in the US)
• He says whatever the f*ck he wants...and some people like that in an era where sensitivity for politically correct behavior seems to be getting to incredibly unrealistic levels
• He's not Hillary Clinton...or a Democrat

US politics is so messed up that people will actually vote for the "lessor of two evils". It makes no sense. People are afraid to vote for anything other than a Democrat or a Republican. People say "voting for third party is throwing your vote away". That quote is possibly one of the dumbest comments anyone can say in a democracy or a republic.

I don't like Trump, no.

The reason is simple, Trump although being a multi billionaire is more than 70 years old and we all know that when we grow that old the brain doesn't function at its best. How can someone at that age be president of the United States. Trust me, you will see USA going down and down by Trump stupidity in a matter of just a few years.

The people of America are divided into two groups one are the pro-Trump and the other groups are the anti-Trump. The pro-trump loves trump because trump is a president who values life and he is keen on thinking how to make America great again. The anti-trump sees trump as a trash and a funndy individual who will bring America to its doom. I dont know where to side since I am not an American Citizen.

In fact, Trump will never make America great. His mental abilities do not allow this. A person who is able to do something always has a plan. Trump have no strategy. All he's doing is responding to the challenges. Smart people create for themselves comfortable environment, and Trump trying to adjust to the conditions.

Trump owns a company, has loads of money, has a few (seemingly) decent kids (none of them are in jail or anything), has gotten enough people to vote for him to be President.

How do you know that is in the possession of Trump? His Declaration has not been seen. I would not be surprised if he is a bankrupt and went to the polls just to increase the ratings of his TV show. Trump talks too much and there is no evidence of his words.

He's been on the cover of a multitude of magazines including Playboy. He's a multimillionaire owning successful businesses, planes, cars buildings and so on. I guess he's yet to become Pope or some other big religious leader but looks like anything is possible for him.

A very good post. You described the sad truth. She works him to support her life and career, but doesn't like him. I've seen Trump talk and he has that bossy style that nobody likes. You acquire that after many years of looking down on people and assessing their work. He's cold, judging, and nobody likes it. I have already answered this many times. The POTUS elections are based on electoral votes, and not on popular votes. The democrat votes are therefore inflated due to many reasons. For example, many of the republicans in the deep-blue states like California abstains from casting their ballot, as they know that the Democrat candidate is going to get all the electoral votes from California anyway. Also, in states such as California, the republicans hardly put any of their agents at the polling booths, to prevent ballot stuffing and other forms of voter fraud.

The American economy has received a major boost ever since Trump was elected as the president of the United States. The stock markets are at all time highs, and a lot of companies have decided against moving their manufacturing operations overseas.

It becomes clear that Trump's policy and his views on the world will bring him many problems. This point is very eloquently talking about it.

But as he overcomes his problems, he begins to clear our problems up for us.

I think that the reason people like him is that he is a businessman, at least he know what to do to make something a success and also he is not a politician, I think a lot of people did not vote for him but against Hillary since they saw in her another politician.

While I definitely have the unpopular opinion, I must admit that I do like President Trump. Now, I completely understand how many people do not like him. He does shoot his mouth off a lot and says quite rude comments, but he follows through with things, which I admire. One example of this is the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Throughout his campaign, he pledged to withdraw from it when he became president, and he did. Also, I think that he is not the normal career politician that will have tons of promises and never follow through with any of them.

I respect everyone who participates in the political process. In these pieces, you won't see me differentiate "real Americans" from others who somehow are not real Americans, or use terms such as "liberal snowflake." Some have taken offense to my reference to East or West Coast "elitists." If that's the most derogatory term I use, please forgive me. I realize that not every liberal who lives on the coasts has an elitist attitude, and of course even elitists are real Americans, too.

This is very easy to answer. We often like something when we benefit on that something or someone. For my conclusion, I think that the people who likes him benefits on his presidency. So, that is enough reason for him to be liked. :)

You could as well ask why people like Hillary. It seems to me that once you think you have no options you end up voting for the one who seems to you the lesser evil. Which doesn't mean he necessarily isn't.

People had 8 years with Obama's failures and his successes weren't enough to convince people to vote blue a third time and Hillary Clinton is just unelectable like no one that's done any kind of digging into her past thought she was a good candidate and the fact the democrats actually thought she was a shoe-in on top of rigging the primaries just goes to show you how lost the Democratic Party truly is. Voting third-party is still considered taboo in today's duo party system but I have a feeling that is changing as both Republicans and Democrats fail their bases expectations.

besides all the negative things that are being said about Trump, the man is quite confident and knows (most of the time) what he is doing. I think that's what is attractive about him, to start with, he's already successful and presidency is for him "nothing special", he is a direct talker and a good salesman/marketer (he's essentially a business guy), so he knows how to convice someone and what to tell to make him even more attractive in their eyes. I think he's stance in many things is wrong, but it's something new for everyone - we never had such a person in office and we can all learn something out of this experience. If he will again elected is another question, but we'll definitely have to live for the rest three years with that guys whether we like it or not, and hope that he'll do more good than harm, we'll have to see I guess.

I do not really like Trump the reason I am his choice to shut down access for any Muslim who wants to come to America. Another important factor is that some people experience an "opinion dictate" of political correct fanatics. Trump simply is Trump and doesn't apologise for literally anything (insulting leaders, grabbing women by the p, ...)

I like the president now. I think he won because people are tired of the last presidents who are just good in publicity and they always look suspicious like they are hiding something wicked unlike the current president where his life is very open.
