This is not the present price according to the preev price today is $1,726. Since you are asking if the price will increase more. Maybe the price can be increase more we do not know what will be happen and what will be the next movement of the price of bitcoin..

Not at $1800 right now, however it was close to it about a week ago.
It is possible for it to go back up to $1800 (and potentially further) but right now it's slumped closer to $1700 than $1800. For the future, I would not be surprised if we see an increase in value beyond $1800, but there are a lot of variables to keep in mind and I won't be betting on anything anytime soon. Just collecting what I can.

Maybe at the current rate, it won't go that down anymore. Most of the people are really holding their bitcoins and are not yet ready to give it up and sell. Maybe only until we hit the 2000$ - 2500$. So for me, the price to be going up some more is really possible.

Glad to see that the price is still really strong and nothing can be done and if it is really capable of breaking the $1800 mark for some time we could see  $2000 in a very short time,there are more investors coming into it and with every price drop people are accumulating the coin which is a good sign.

Just a small sentence, how much is the cost of mining 1BTC right now with cheapest electricity? I doubt it if any miner will ever reveal that information.

In the past I said it many times even if you are not in profit while mining it's fine and just have a little bit of faith and hold whatever you mine to sell whenever you could earn a profit.

Now I'll share a secret, mining 1 bitcoin only costs $780 with the expensive electricity though if you have free ASIC, without them it will cost you $1500 so you are still more than $230 in profit if price stays the same.

Well today the price of bitcoins is 1719$ ,well i would say that it is the best time to invest in bitcoins.You might have seen that the price of bitcoins goes low during the middle of any moneht and grows high up at the beginning of any month.I would guess that the price of bitcoins would be touching more than 2000$ by  the beginning of 1st week of june .

Bitfinex always quotes a higher value than the most other exchanges functioning. On an average the price is found around $1780 - $1800 in all other exchanges. Hope this will grow further towards $2000 this time, as the fluctuations might have provided the resistance to go beyond the past ATH.

yes 1800 is a big number! it is bigger than 2 smaler than 5000.

but we are not talking about math here, we are talking about bitcoin price, and for bitcoin which is being adopted more and more each day and it still has the same small amount of coins available that number aka price is too small so it must go a lot higher.

the fact that it hasn't gone up a lot is only because of traders who are short term trading and dumping it for profit but the buy support have always bought it back up again.

For once forget about Bitcoin and stick to Stellar for time being as it's price is pumping with heavy power and large amounts.

I'm going to inject some cash from bank account and withdraw my savings and enter stellar with $5500 for now just to see if I can double it next week.

And since my fund is small I can definitely cash out because they're pumping it with millions, however I need to first buy Bitcoin because it's the only crypto which I can buy with local currency along side LTC but $1780 is a bit much.:(

Definitely it will go up more.  There are certain news when used correctly will push Bitcoin price further to $2000.  This news are the acceptance of some countries of bitcoin being mode of payment and/or money.  The recent action of US about accepting Bitcoin to pay for Visa is a good news too when viewed positively and use to hype Bitcoin and increase its price..

Exchange hacks are mostly set up to look like that. It's top notch manipulation in order to get the price down significantly, and in a very short time.

Every exchange should list all its cold storage addresses (and not just one or two) publicly so everyone can see whether or not something unusual is happening.

Another important aspect is that from there basically everyone is able to trace these coins. Openness is a very important aspect ~ some exchanges do this already, why not all exchanges..

what you don't understand with your long text is that government don't care much about the bitcoin price. what they care about is how bitcoin is used, aka trying to prevent people from using bitcoin for illegal activities such as what they do in dark markets.

and for that bitcoin can be worth $0.01 and still be used for illegal activities.

The target for this year is to reach the bitcoin price into $2000 dollars per bitcoin it will go up more based on what the ceo of blockchain said bitcoin will be at the price of half of million dollars by the year of 2020 or maybe less this could be possible any time the only 2000 dollars?

there is only one thing that is making me nervous to be honest. and that is the ETF news, we all know it is useless news and it is not going to change anything for bitcoin but i am afraid the whales may take advantage of it's possible rejection and dump.

apart from that $1800 is not a lot, it is very cheap considering bitcoin potential. so it will surely go up even if it means going up in long term and dipping in short.

Currently, the price is pegged at $1600-$$1750. So obviously the next target will be $2000 and I speculate it could be hitted t his year and even more. Bitcoin is now has the full confident of investors, big investors. Even some of them are now going out and telling about how much they have investment in bitcoin. So I'm confident now that the price will really reach by $2000. And it looks like there are a lot of countries are interested to adopt or embrace bitcoin in the next couple of months which will push the price of bitcoin to a new level.

Well we can't do anything about the fraudulent practices of big whales. They are it for the big profits. We just have to trust bitcoin and the matured investors behind. For me, bitcoin has now stable because of them. They don't panic and just sell their bitcoin in case the price goes down. And bitcoin has showed us time and time again that in can rebound from any dumping so don't be nervous about that.

It seems to be starting an exponential rise, I predict it will hit 4k$ before the end of the year, obviously with such rapid rises there is also a lot of volatility so short and flash crashes are very likely to become more frequent as bitcoin rises in price.

since it seems that there is no deadline for an appeal decision, I think we won't hear any news for a long time, considering the first ETF decision took 3 years to be made.

Bitcoin ETF is not the only factor that responsible for the price inflation of BTC. I think the price inflation is the result of world wide hacking with the use of ransomware virus. That issue really draws many investor/people to buy BTC since it was very intriguing.

I doubt segwit will have implemented in the future. I think that will be impossible to reach 95% votes to get activation. All of this trend just a usual thing in bitcoin trade. Many times i've seen the price get recovery and dump again in the future.

There is no way to collect more bitcoin earlier, the bitcoin you have at this moment is the one you have if you want more bitcoin then you will need to do so at this high prices but at the same time the price does not stop going up at all.

It really exceeded 1800$ I can't imagine this happening weeks ago but it happened. Bitcoin right now is at 1900$+ and I think it still continues to rise and will continue to go up for weeks. I really hope that it will continue to rise in the next coming months before we see a correction again. Right now I think that 2000$ bitcoin price can be reached this year without a doubt if there is no bad news that will prevent it to hit that mark this year.

On poloniex the price got close to $2000 but not quite there. Coinbase was a little lower. There may be some resistance at $2000.

Already on so much strongly users have believed in bitcoin that anything else and smaller do not expect. Only a minimum of 2000 dollars for 1 bitcoin this summer and not a cent less.

We have break this price now bitcoin is going strong moving to break $1900 USD.  I think we will reach the $2000 barrier soon with the good news of US accepting bitcoin as payment for visa.  No matter how we think that it is the action of the government to trackdown users, it is still a positive news since it brings in usage and demand to the coins.  Aside from that, we won't worry abou it if we are not doing anything wrong.

Actually bitcoin has reached up for 2000$ right now and it could rise so far if theirs no pretty huge fuds will scattered up to block its way and the another target for predicted price right now is 3000$ for next month onwards hope we can see that price would be happen since im so sure that all of us are wanting to have that and to earn more from this good thrend.

Whether Bitcoin's value sits at $1000 or $5000, it doesn't really matter in terms of actual usage. If you want to use Bitcoin more frequently in your personal life (as far as possible), then you can do it right now.

The only important thing that can trigger Bitcoin adoption to really pick up faster, is when SegWit, and at a later time Lightning Network get activated/implemented.

Today price is 1970$ not 1900$ as mentioned. As mining decreases in the last halving and adoption rate on bitcoin will be takes up the value to 2500$ easily with in a year. If price touched 2010$ or more. Bitcoin will be double the value in the chart.

Right now even a small price drop or a fluctuation causing a drop of price around $200 will easily create a panicking situation among the entire user network. This helps the whales to profit out of it as everyone will be holding good volume of investment. Now at present the price is near $1996 and soon we'll reach $2500 based on the growth happening and the sustainability of growth.

Maybe,maybe not. Bitcoin is on high demand at the moment i dont think a dip of $200 would even be noticeable because it would quickly recover and continue to rally

Of course the whales will always be on the receiving side of cheap coins when ever the weak hands dump their bag of coins but right now bitcoin prices seem to be slowing down maybe holding would be the best option as we get to $2000+

We have seen Bitcoin price barely touched $2,000 USD and by now price is just hoovering around $1,900. At this point in time, can we safely say that we may have seen the last of 3 digits rate of Bitcoins. Lets just hope nothing bad will happen to any exchange site out there due hack. This scenario happened last year with Bitfinex.

In fact after the last incident on the Bitfinex exchange, I'm not inclined to trust this project. And so I'm very serious about the price increase and now there is excitement whether it was specially so that after the growth the price of Bitcoin would drop.

I don't trust Bitfinex either, but at as long as there isn't anything bad happening from their side, we don't have much to worry about. Important is the audit of Bitfinex's solvency next month, to be precise, the 30th of June. If that comes out clean, then we basically eliminated a potentially disturbing factor in Bitcoin's recent growth. But then again, we still have the scaling situation hanging around somewhere....

Bitcoin does not seem to know what resistance is any longer the price keeps surging like there is no tomorrow, like many I regret not buying more and spending my bitcoin in useless stuff, I bought some bitcoin when bitcoin was 300 dollar should have bought a lot more.
