Well I just switched from LTc for CNH for a night and just found my first block! I have seen all the free coins available to registered members but nothing for newbies. I have been active for almost 6 hours and had made 3 posts. Seriously getting pissed I cant reply to anything and get free coins. So I will give them out to others in the same situation. I did notice though, that it has been going on for over a month... I guess those early blocks must have been for the testing or what have you.

I noticed it when I just started up the client, and moved the mouse over the lower right hand side.

If someone wants to "re-install" or put on a different computer or sandbox - whatever, you will notice when the first chain blocks came out. Just saying... and mentioning my observations.

As for mining, I have a decent laptop but it's nothing compared to the mining rigs many of you have. I'll have to try a pool and mine in shorter increments until I can get a better mining set up. thanks to all here for the knowledge they offer to us newbies.

Sorry everyone no more coins to give out. :( I missed my chance to sell at .003 when it got released on btc-e. If i do end up selling high ill be back to give out some btc you can count on that. If the price gets to .005 Ill give out .1 Btc to 5 people or .05 to 10 people. Trust me on this if it gets that High ill be back. I am sorta new to crypto myself and would have loved something like this when i was starting out. Keep an eye on the price :)

The card runs oc'ed from 775/1000 to 950/1200 but runs at 950/1000 while mining and gets 270kh on scrypt. The card is almost 2 years old now and was running at 70°+ but after changing the thermal paste runs at about 65° all day mining.

If anyone has any ideas on a giveaway let me know. I really want to ensure the recipient is a newbie who would be grateful for the card and not just mine for a few days and go back to gaming. Maybe We could get some collaborates and give away a whole system! Maybe to someone who is less fortunate in the pc department. I have quite a few parts laying around.....
