It has nothing to do with Electrum. You should check the transaction ID and see how much $ is involved in the transaction (including the fees) andI doubt they paid that much unless they made a stupid algorithm for calculating fees.

You can see the amount of fees on a transaction by viewing it in a blockchain explorer such as blockchain.info to verify how much the fee was. this is a bitcoin forum, and you are using bitcoin and electrum is a bitcoin wallet and doesn't show you USD values (unless you add something to it which i don't think you did). and the miner also pays you in bitcoin not USD. so please check the BTC value of your transactions and report back. i am sure your confusion will be solved. |
