Title: How much can i make mining with one 7970 Post by: btchaver on May 01, 2013, 03:44:50 PM IF i wanted to purchase a 7970 and try mining for fun or a hobby what could i make in one month for ltc and btc and how much power would i use if i ran full time for one month vs how many coins would be mined at the current difficulty rates for btc and ltc. Just thinking it would be fun to try it why not.

Following the calculator here http://dustcoin.com/mining , it will make you 0.0339 BTC per day ($4 at today's rate) disregarding power costs. Expect about the same income in LTC as 7970 (at least for me does not go above 540KHs) Just remember that difficulty increases about twice a month and that the next increase will shave about 20% off these numbers. |
