Title: bfgminer can't find devices
Post by: Oldgamer on May 01, 2013, 04:55:15 PM
I am sure there is a simple answer.

I just build new miner based on AZROCK E35LM1 motherboard with E-240 processor and Gigabyte HD 7850 card.
I installed all motherboard drivers and all software for the videocard. It came with catalyst 2.8.

When I run bfgminer it shows "All devices are disabled" message.

What I am doing wrong?

Should I separately  install SDK?

I use Windows XP SP2.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I downloaded SDK and installed it - still the same result.
One more thing:
I unpacked bfgminer and run it from there. I read about building it in a readme file, but not sure if I need to do it.
It worked without  "building" it with nVidia card though.
Please help!

When I open GPU-Z I can not enable OpenCL. Any suggestions?

Edit:
Last time when I try to re-install sdk it says failure to install OpenCL.
Looks like this is the cause of the problem.

Now I am not sure why i it fails and does it have to do with APU processor AMD Zagate E-240

Any ideas?
