Title: Unusally large transaction size?
Post by: monbux on May 22, 2017, 02:16:22 PM

1 input, 1 output, how is it 1124 bytes? Is there something I'm missing?

Yes you are missing something. Press "Show scripts & coinbase" and you'll see that the transaction has 6 inputs.

Actually there are 6 inputs and 1 output, just click the "show inputs and coinbase" link on blockchain.info.
The number of inputs is not the number of wallets the money comes from; it's the number of transactions the money comes from.

Thanks.  I've been relying on trezor.io to tell me my transaction size before hand this whole time.

Wrong. Input are inputs, those whole 6 inputs could have been from one single transaction (not the case this time), not necessarily from six different.
