The stale issue is on your side. As I don't need to do a thing on http://chn.ub3rl33t.com/ and it was 8% stale(still high) (vs 21% here) but their site is getting overloaded with traffic currently so it's why I switched here.. Hope you can work it out. asun is hogging all the netwrok bandwidth, and he is almost certainly a bot. Not only has he been #1 on your FTC pool, and now CHN pool, at the same time he was #1 on your FTC pool he was #1 AND #2 on various other pools that I looked at yesterday. I know he is making the pool operator money, but some kind of hashrate limit might should be placed on the guy at a coin difficulty rate that is single digits. He snagging over 50% of my accepted shares. Sorry if this seems out of line, but he is really hurting other miners on the pool IMO. The hardware is much better, the connection is better, and it has a reverse proxy for DDoS mitigation. I'm currently protected to 1 Gbps, but if the DDoS attacks are larger than that I'll have to up the pool fee to ~2% and buy a more hefty reverse proxy.

The high number of miners on the site has affected my shares, 17.5CNC would take an hour to pay out for a couple of hours, then 1hr 15mins, now 1hr 30 mins. Don't know if it is just bad luck, but with the huge number of workers, wouldn't have thought the luck would be that bad....

It's work that your doing but not submitting to the pool -- so yes it does affect mining. There's just nothing you can do about it. It's pretty much only going to be functional when the attackers are done screwing over CNC. To make matters even worse, it seems like they are trollling CNC miners by letting servers come up for a few minutes, so we pull our hashrates away from whatever we were mining in the meantime to switch over to CNC PPLNS pools for around 5 minutes of time before they shut it down again.

Obviously people that aren't registered will not get through, but that's a small price to pay during such an event.
Some kind of site where you can go to register your IP that can't easily be done by a bot like a captcha with email confirmation as an example, could be set up for new users and people that have a dynamic IP that just changed. Try this, instead of the IP's for the stratum backup: -o stratum+tcp://lb.izserv.com:2595 You should use the primary as minecnc.dontmine.me because that will have the lowest latency. Basically what I'm doing is I have a second IP on a different subnet for my server and I'm using reverse proxies and cloudflare to filter attacks. CloudFlare works with http and longpolling is a HTTP/JSON interface so I can filter it using that. I'm on the free plan right now, so I'm not sure how long the 8080 will be open but protection is a reasonable 200/m. Stratum is just a TCP service and it's a bit harder to protect. Been maybe 5 hours? Does the site need a manual payout script run? Payout is after 120 confirms, in the last 5 hours none of the blocks you earned shares on have been confirmed. Thanks. :) I sent you a PM. Also note that the unpaid share total is 1050k, and if you're mining with 1.5 MH/s you should have about 10k unpaid shares that won't pay for 10 hours.
