Good to see the pool is actively managed. I'm still mining even though the site looks down. I hope shares are still counted properly and that the site will be back up soon.

So the front end is down but the back end is functioning ? I guess it is since my hasrate looks to be 100%. Getting very few stales to, compared to other pools, which is nice.

But no comfirmation that I'm mining is making me a bit uncomfortable.

I'm having the same issue. I actually pulled out of CHN all together for right now, but I have over 4700 shares confirmed and 0 balance right now :/

Good lord.  This is a known issue with the software.  Fear not, all I do is manually run some scripts every so often to fix it.

It seems like the blocks were hitting faster than the script was running.  It should be better now.

Just shut down for the night, payouts are coming through. There's currently a bit of a gap between block confirmation and payout but if he is having to do it manually that's to be expected

Indeed.  I don't think the pool software was was originally made to crunch the data this fast.

I am keeping a close eye on it.

I see a few blocks will need to be paid manually.  I will take care of that soon.

Even better, the small issue with shares not being taken care of, should be resolved.

May have a small bug that is making the hashrates jump all over the place. 

I updated the title to included CNC.  So, it's CHNcoin or CNC apparently.

The estimated coins per hour and actual coins per hour ending up on my account are not even ballpark. I'm going to do some rate calculations and confirm...

I've found 3 blocks for this pool in the past couple of hours, so the 20 CNC in my account do not make me a happy customer.

Edit: Some numbers:

Cluster2 22:46 PDT 17.46 CNC
Cluster2 23:46 PDT 30.35 CNC

This cluster has a hashrate (reported by cgminer) of approximately 2500 kh/s. The pool is currently quoting me 2537, which sounds reasonable (although I've seen it nearly touch 5000 reported kh/s). The predicted coins/day is ~1118, which also seems about right at the ccurrent difficulty. Per hour, that's 1118/24 = 46.6.

I measure 30.45 - 17.46 = 12.99 CNC actual against 46.6 CNC predicted.

Autopayout is off and the pool doesn't seem to be having trouble hitting blocks.

He was having some bugs last night. I was having the same doubts as you going to bed that I would wake up and it still wouldn't be there. But true to his word he processed them manually overnight and it was all there this morning. Give him a chance to get it working right and it will be a great pool

Please do not go off the hashrate that the pool is showing you.  It has been going up and down.  If you go off what your miner miner says, you will get a much more accurate estimate.  We have some bad pool luck over night and things were slow.

Nuh uh. I have found probably a dozen blocks in this pool now, and received a total payout of about 250.

I don't get 25% of the predicted over 8 hours due to "bad pool luck". Maybe I'd believe 50%. Not 25%.

Hi, first of all thanks for setting up the pool, I appear to have run into a small issue; I mined for about 5-6 hours today, however when I checked back just now, there was only 1.247 CNC accumulated (my average hashrate was ~370 Kh/s). From what I calculate, this appears much smaller than it should be - I would appreciate your help on this.

Too many people join the pool and quit after a short time because they don't think they are getting what they are "suppose" to be getting.  Take a look at the bigger picture.  @ 370Kh, you should see ~ 150 coins per day.  The pool, on average hits a block every 4 minutes.  With 1440 minutes in a day, that would mean the pool should hit 360 blocks per day considering the difficulty does not change or the pool does not have an outage of some sort.  Once you were running at speed for a a while you were consistently getting .13 per block. 

So, 360 blocks x .13 = 43.2  So, looking at that most people would would instantly jump to the conclusion that the pool operator must be ripping you off.  Well, the server shows you have 171% stales.  That's right, 171.23%!  So, roughly, you are loosing out on 2/3 of your coins per day.  The last 1/3 is what you see in your account.  An estimated 150 per day with that high of a stale rate only nets you 49.5 coins.  Then subtract the pools 1% fee and your at 49 coins per day.  On top all that, the pool may have some bad luck and not hit 360 blocks.

People really need to brush up on how PPLNS work.  And judging by your shares on my pool..  Your hashrate must be like 50k, or you have a serious misconfig.

I don't think you are wasting your time.  I can't see your hash because you left, but you were ramped upped and making  2.76155253 coins per block.  That will add up in 24hrs.

Since the diff doubled, we hit blocks every 10 minutes.  That would equate to 144 blocks per day.   2.76155253 x 144 = 397.  Seems to be what your suppose to be getting with 1800khash

not sure why people are accusing niteryder of being a scammer. was in his FTC pool and payouts were as expected after a few hours of mining. this is NOT PPS, its PPLNS which has a variety of factors for your payout.

Yeah i'm seeing hashrate report problems, but look at the share count that appears to be updating correctly.

I had to modify the pool diff because it was to easy and hammering the database.  Hopefully it should be better.

hemm something is strange about this pool.

i have 1.5M on the pool, expected payout in 24h is 300 CNC, but i'm only getting 0.027 CNC for the 200 paid share. i have 2000 unpaid share so that's only 0.3 CNC total for paid+unpaid together, for over mining over 2 hours. so 24 hr is only 3.6 cnc.

Can everyone compare you expected payout with what you've been paid+unpaid and let me know if this is just me?

You have to give it time to ramp up.  It's a PPLNS pool, not PPS.

i'm on it for 2+ hours this is way pass 120 confirm. as i said, i'm not just counting the paid portion, i included both paid portion + estimated unpaid portion based on similar rate.

Expected payouts are all wrong here and elsewhere because of changing network hash.

If you want to know your expected payrate per day:

your hashrate/network hashrate*24 hours/day*60 min/hour*1 block/min*50 coins/block*.99 (1% fee)

That gives something about 1/2 the expected rate shown on the web, but what i'm getting so far is 1/80 of the expected rate.

It also depends on when you started too... we missed about 60 blocks or so (46048-46104, just now getting paid, maybe server restart?), so if you were connected then you wouldn't make any coins during the 60 minute period. You have to let time average things out, because sometimes we'll get 1 block in 15 minutes, then 7-8 in 10 minutes. There is a lot of variance on a short time-scale.

sure i understand the variance, but not to something like 80 folds. are you saying your rate of pay is close to expected? i'll hang around 1 more hour but my performance on this pool is a lot worse on than even a non-stratum p2p.

I've been waiting for a while for a chunk of blocks to come through (should be here in 2-3 minutes). We weren't having good luck 1-2 hours ago (something screwed up with server is my guess), so if you started then, you're just now getting paid for that crappy period, so the payouts (if any) aren't great. That is about to change though, should be a couple of chunks coming through right now (3 blocks in a row for instance).

The pool is so busy it misses block payouts.  This is a known  issue and I just need to run a script to catchup.

I noticed that, we get 3-5 in a ten block frame and then it slows down to 1 in 15 to 20. I'm still sticking around though, because this is the best pool by far.

I also have about 1.5 Mhash/sec pointed here and by that formula I should be getting:

1.5 / 1000 * 24 * 60 * 1 * 88 *.99 = 188 coins per day, or roughly (188/24) 7.8 coins an hour.

I have been at this pool now 5 hours and have been paid not quite 7 coins the entire time!  As others have pointed out, even accounting for variance, it seems to be short changing us by a factor of 5 or greater.

for around 1900 kh/s i've been paid around 32 CHC in the past couple hours. not sure what's going on with your end

That sounds a lot more reasonable, if I was getting even 20-25 coins I wouldn't be complaining, but it seems some of us are getting really low payouts. My invalids, according to the pool are around 2%, so I do not think it is because I am submitting junk shares.

Like I mentioned before.  Shares and blocks are coming so fast I need to run a script on the back end to get it caught up.  Right now, the database is busy enough that it wont let me run the script.

Exactly my problem. See stats below. I've been on for 4 hours. For 1.5M i expect to have made 50 coins. And I don't think it's payout not catching up. The paid vs. unpaid share is not so big, so I'd say even when the unpaid is counted its like 10 CHC.

past hour stratum has been disconnecting a lot, I think user accounts have tripled in the past few hours and it's possible the server is just getting overloaded.

You are getting a disconnect because I am running a report on the servers database, I guess it's too much for it.  I'll wait until later.

My payouts are real bad right now.

I put 12 MH on the server - enough to be the 2nd most powerful miner - and I have ~26 coins right now in 3 hours of mining. I've found multiple blocks for the pool, too. I'm also seeing a lot of connection problems.

Please tell me this is being resolved, or else I guess I have to go back to FTC. However, I'd really like to get that ~3,000 CNC/day that the pool projected when I was hitting it with the amount I should.

I've already switched to FTC. Tried 3 or 4 pools all pay about 1/2 ~ 1/8 of the expected rate. This pool is the 1/8 btw.

Yeah just started mining CNC was going to go solo then decided a pool might be a bit better. I'm having trouble staying connected to your pool.

If you're on a linux distro i can't help you, but in windows open a command prompt(go to run type cmd) and then in the cmd window enter ipconfig /flushdns.

nyterider you had said earlier that the pool had found blocks faster than it could keep up with, is this still the case? because its showing that we've only found 2 out of the last 100 blocks.

If you are using Windows, just close cgminer or whatever you mien with, open a cmd prompt and type in (noting the space) and then close the cmd window and restart cgminer.

There's definitely something seriously wrong with the payouts.  Over six hours at ~1400KH/s and I have 26.55796339 coins paid; even with variance and an invalid rate of 4% there's absolutely no way that's even remotely accurate it should easily be at minimum double that.

Earlier in the day yes, but did not seem to be during the time those stats were collected.  My miner has stayed connected fine and the website has still been up, but now I guess I'll setup some tracking to graph that out to be certain.

What I noticed is that I still kept getting paid long after the blocks I worked on were confirmed (120 confirms)...

Well 9 hours of throwing 1500 kHash at this has netted me 17 whole coins. You can come up with all the excuses you want, but someone other than me is sure benefitting from this setup. Now with the glorious PPLNS I will be lucky to get 2-3 more now that I left.

Pretty nice you wait until 60% of the people who earned those coins leave the pool before you "run the script" so you and your buddies can enjoy the spoils. I had my suspicions all along, but not even 2 hours into my new pool at the same hash rate I already have close to half what I made during 9 hours at your scam. This and I am not even earning 100% PPLNS yet!

I cannot get the site to load at all in my browser by using the domain. but when i go to the ip address for it "209.141.39.41" the site comes up but i cannot login now. What's going on?

In his defense, a scammer wouldn't attempt to fix a problem like this. I think all pools right now are experiencing major problems, and that is to be expected with all of the hype surrounding chncoin. I've still managed to make more than I would ftc mining or ltc mining despite the problems, and probably more than I would have made mining in another pool.

Check back a few posts for the discussion; you may have to refresh your ip. I had to reset my router to get the site to come back up.

I did get the site to load but i assume i fall into the missing coins category like others since my estimates were .8 coins per block for probably an hour but never got credits over .28 for any blocks and it says i have 0 unpaid shares. I assume this will be worked out  :-\

I moved the server behind a ddos filter and thus needed to modify the IP and DNS eariler.  If you have problems it may be because you are using the old info.

I also haven't gotten paid in full yet. I am also getting a bunch of rejects/stales about 5%.

I'm running at about 380khash and been mining for 3 hours. I have less than one CNC still, when according to your site I should earn around 88 per day. 88/24*3 = 11 funny that I have less than .66.

Guys, I bought into it for 9 hours too, but less than 3 hours at another pool I have already been paid more than my entire waste of time here. Same exact hash rate, same PPLN payout, etc., but more coin coming in that match-up what the back of napkin figures show it to be, unlike here.

Not saying the operator is a outright scammer, but there is at a minimum a serious misconfiguration on the pool end. Of course, at the end of the day, it doesn't hurt that the pool just so happens to keep all those extra unclaimed coins.

Cut your losses and find another pool, not worth the aggravation.

Agreed, I received less than .5 coins from the "make-up" payout and now all of the sudden my payment per block has immediately dropped by 75%... not worth it.

Running for ~8hours or more at 420kh/s and got about a quarter I was meant to receive. So not cool.

I swithed pools. For roughly 1 hour@1550 Khash in dontmineme pool I made 10 CNC confirmed.
In about 13-14 hours@mnlan pool I made about 80-85 CNC... There should be something wrong, indeed. Stale shares are same %. :(  ???

I was mining at last night at 2.6Mh/s, and only got 20 coins :(.

Guess I'll have to find elsewhere! :(

I only got 10% of what I should have, there's no way the pool is still being DDoS'd that hard, I think something fishy is going on here...

It seems I get payed after switching pools. It's really hard to tell if there is really missing coins.

I'm still sitting on a lot of unpaid shares, but my shares to coins ratio over time is FAR worse here. I would avoid this pool for now. Too bad.... I want some stratum.

Actually, from my calculations, Since now, I've got 1/3 or 1/4 less than expected ( based on estimates, without the 10% stale+1% fee and the luck ). My account is still credited with coins.

Another extremely displeased user here. Was on pool for 6-8 hours, payouts not as expected, okay well PPLNS takes a while to catch up with things, 10% stales, etc. I go to bed.

7 hours later, payout is about 100 cnc. According to all reasonable figures, should have been 600 minimum. More like 1200 for all the previous hours as well. So where is 80%+ of my income? Not in my wallet, that's for sure. Lining someone else's?

Avoid. It's either a scam or horribly misconfigured.

I will eat my words if I ever see the rest of my cnc, but I won't hold my breath on that one.

I said enough earlier, you can look back if you want to see my feelings, but I will add that I am much happier after switching pools. I just woke up after having been on a new pool for 10 hours and was happy to see 126 coins from the new pool sitting in my account. This is almost spot on to my figures, maybe even a little higher.

I think I ended up with ~32 out of this pool after 9 hours (1 hour less) with the same hash rate. Maybe 4 of those trickled in during the overnight hours after I left, so for those of you still sitting on unpaid shares don't get your hopes up expecting some big windfall coming your way.

yesterday i connected to this pool and headed to work. unfortunately admin changed IP and my worker was down most of the time ...so to sum it up

I made 9 coins in 2,5 hours (estimated time before it  went down) @ 600Khash   

Now i'm mining at another pool and i'm much more happy: 32coins in 7 hours + lots of shares

i`m not sure of the specifics... but i mined with ~6MHs and had ~1200 coins ... this night i got another 720 credited to my wallet, so i`m happy with that.

So be it.  Due to so many bugs and constant DDos attacks, I am disabling the mining for this pool.  I have other pools that are working without issues, but this one is has issues and is being too random.

For now, please withdraw your coins if you have not already.

I mined over 24h with 2.5+Mh/s and got just a little over 100 coins. And no it's not because of connection problems. I checked and it was connected most of the time and shares were being accepted. The site also showed mostly the right hashrate.
Where did the coins go?

Just want to know where all of the coins went? I made more coins in 1 hour at a different pool than I did in 8 hours here. That many coins won't just disappear.

Probably my coins and others... I got a laughable amount of coins credited back to my account. I believe there may have been some selective scamming going on here.

I also mined for around 12 hrs and received 3 coins. What is the best alternate pool?

Yep, scam pool, or highly incompetent pool operator.

I just received coin from there a few minutes ago and I haven't mined for the pool for more than a week. If you're missing coin maybe open your wallet and see if anything miraculously showed up.

Well coins would need to miraculously show up everyday for a few months for some of us to be made whole again.

ANyone else having difficulty withdrawing ANY cnc from any of the pools?  I keep getting a server error when I withdraw.

I think I just got paid from this pool as well.  Random payment showed up in my wallet, lol.  I abandoned this pool because pool operator is a bit noobish and can't get the payments working 100%.  It's OK, though, I once ran a Bitcoin pool and was a n00b and screwed up and lost my whole MySQL database  :-[

I am a "n00b" when it comes to mmcFE/stratum pool.  I have been working with a few other respected pool ops on using proper settings for the pool and mostly things were right, it's just the share payouts were off for some miners.  I wish I had an answer on why it had happened, but I don't.  I am not the only one that is/was having pool issues.  This software was made years ago and has had virtually no updates, bug fixes, etc..  Included with the pool software is a file that will go through and count shares from missed blocks and add the missed coins back to the miners account.  I ran it and it paid out all the missed blocks.  Well, it paid out alright, it completely exhausted the central pools wallet. 

For the coins that were magically showing in people's wallets...  I re-set all the account thresholds to 0.10 to force payouts.  Seriously, I don't want your coins.  I also did it because I am assuming some miners were pissed and would never be back.  I am actually surprised how many miners don't add a payout address to their account.  If you are one and happen to be reading this, feel free to stop back and add your wallet address so you can collect your coins.

I see most people have labeled me a scammer and my pool will likely never be mined because of it.  However, I'm still mining my pool and I'm hopeful that payouts have been fixed and are working properly.  Also, if any pool ops would have any insight on why payouts break, I'm all ears.

I've mined about 5 hours on this pool with 1.5MH/s. Only got about 10CNCs. This was when diff was 8. You owe me about 55 coins.

It sounds like you are using a fork of the code I ran my pool on a long time ago.  It was called "Mining Farm" back then.  It was written by a coder who barely knew what he was doing and had spelling mistakes everywhere in the code besides just not working.  I ended up re-writing about 90% of the code on my own fork.  In the end it never quite worked due to fundamental design flaws.  I was backing up my database every hour and *poof* something went wrong.  Well, when I got everything back the code wouldn't pay out properly from the gap in time it was down.  I ended up paying everyone manually and shutting down the pool.  Good times  :-\
