I must say that after Marshall contacted me on the phone he was a great guy.  He explained exactly what was going on and the legal implications of the ICO.

Fairly clear that it was staged. I sent approx 2 seconds after deadline and had mine returned.

NO way that this was anything but a pre-coded Insider trade. Either that, or the "top men" of crypto are idiots.

Either way. A reboot is clearly the only way since no sane person would want 2 people (no way that 15 people made it in that fast, clearly scripted gas wasting from 1-3 whales) holding all the tokens in a public payment system.

I'm giving them the benefit of a doubt, but as Shakespeare would say, "There is something rotten in Denmark".

You guys do know the coin has been for sale OTC in the slack for months right?

The reality is most of the supply was bought up by both institutional investors and dedicated crypto people who bothered to join the slack and learn about the product weeks in advance, you snooze you lose.

How is that any form of excuse for structuring a crowdsale so pathetically badly that 2-3 people buy all tokens by simply running scripts that push large transactions against the blockchain in millisecond intervals?

You seem, well not so bright if you don't understand that those are two entirely separate arguments.

Knowing about a product doesn't offset, a moronicly excecuted sale since buying tokens OTC and in a crowdsale isn't the same thing.

Pointless to hold a "crowdsale" if you are simply gonna dump all tokens to the same people who bought the seed round.

Personally tried around 10 times to no avail a few seconds after the announcement was posted (like 20 minutes before the timer) Lost on gas and the ETH price drop.... LOL

oh well....

Also tried couple times. They had some problems, there will be a new ico for those who still trust this project. (And yes, most of the coins are already sold)

I have inspected this project for a long time and determine to invest ico. So I was waiting for Ico but as i heard; the ico was given up. There is no official thread of this project and i couldn't find a clear information.

I don't think it's a scam but it's distribution leaves a lot to be desired at the moment that's for sure.

Dude what buzz? This totally flew under the radar, no marketing, no bitcointalk thread, no social media outreach. The reality is you had months to buy and 1,000 of you (not all of you but most) showed up to the slack only days before the ICO demanding in, how did you even hear about this coin? Like I said there's been almost ZERO outreach or marketing to the public. If you really wanted it so bad why didn't you join the slack months ago and buy from Marshall OTC in the pre-sales?

I admit the final ICO process has seemed bungled but come on, most everyone getting pissed are just fly-by-nighters wanting to grab a quick 3x-5x and dump immediately on the exchanges, they don't give a shit about the product and probably know little to anything about it, they just smell "ooh next ICO, gimme dat BTC!"

Why these people need to be appeased more than those who did the research to join the slack early and learn about METAL weeks or months beforehand is beyond me. Remember, alot of pre-salers were pissed the supply was going to be inflated to make room for all you new 1000 new people, but i guess their feelings don't matter, right? Only the midnight hour people....

No body lost any money, so not really a scam = CHECK
You did not get to be an ico flipper = CHECK

Honestly at this point you didnt lose a penny and if you don't want to buy at market price then beat it. Pre sale investors have invested since a long time when you didnt even hear about Metalpay. So stop crying and calling a scam when you are just butt hurt about not getting hold of some tokens for selling in exchanges.

Ok so ico did not happen and its disappointing as I also was holding eth since 25th may and looking to buy in. Eth is since up 40% so I am very happy i made gains. Frustrated that didn't get hold of any metal.. But i will look to buy in exchanges or use the app. Not cry like newbies on bitcointalk.

Idiots like you just want to be ico flippers who do not care about the project. You are just butthurt because you did not get a hand on the tokens. It is an open market and nobody is forcing anyone to buy on exchanges. In fact if you think it's way overpriced you can look away. Must be a shock to you but there are other coins. Btw the eth i bought for this ico just made me sweet 20k profit.
