Title: Celebrities in depression
Post by: Horserg on May 30, 2017, 03:06:12 PM
Do you think most celebrities suffer from depression because of drug use or too much work? What about what happened to Heath Ledger and Brittany Murphy? if not, what do you think causes anxiety and depression in most celebrities?

i would go nuts if was famous. every time you're out in the world you're being judged, hassled, photographed, insulted, adored. that's enough to drive anyone crazy. and no matter where you go in the world it's always gonna be the same if you're truly famous.

all you get in return is money. that don't seem like much of a life to me.

Anybody can get depressed, not just celebrities. But I guess their constant being in the limelight does affect their well-being, especially for those who're already prone to such illnesses.

I don't get it. Why can't they just think of how much money they have. Most of these people could simply retire at any point they want and live the rest of their lives like kings from what they've earned in just a few years. Also for every hater they have they also have some deluded fan out there worshiping them.

Still if public judgement is so harsh, they can just take their money, go live in some secluded tourist resort for rich people the next 5 years and nobody will remember them in the end. They'll be just average Joes with millions of dollars in their bank accounts.

Their problem is they're primadonnas. Most of these men and women have made their fortune without breaking a sweat and can't appreciate the value of the money they have. They live in their made up world where what Katy Perry tweeted about your dress matters and can't look at life through the perspective of normal people. They're doomed to live their lives in delusion and I don't even think it's possible to give them a wake up call to get them back to reality.

Remember those so called stars bursting into tears when Donald Trump was elected? Those were the tears of adults who have never faced any difficulties in life and now for the first time things don't go their way. That's the kind of mentality that makes them OD on pills when their careers fall apart for example.

Celebrites are just like us, but more popular. They are public personalities. It is much difficult to have a depression and you're a celebrity because you have to show the world that you're happy when in fact you're not. You must always act tough even though the situation gives you enough reason to be weak.

Everyone can get depression, not only celebrities. Even though on TV and magazines, news articles they always look happy, lively and ready for action. But behind that TV mask, we don't know how they actually feel. Remember, they are humans too. I'm sure being famous has its cost and tolls on them as well.

being in the limelight of showbiz is difficult because of the fame you are not able to have your own life you are always be sorrounded by paparazis and you cannot go out alone because people will recognize you and its abnormal. this no life lifestyle could bring huge anxiety and depression to people because peopñe is designed to socialize and have a real life.i think thats why many artist have kill themselves to escape from the paranioa of fame

,we may not know what are they suffering but some may say or shown in the news that they are depressed, we also do not know what are the other matters that are related to their depression, it could be family, fame, money or their self. This is also why people tend to do suicide because they feel no one or nobody is going to understand them.

It's very hard to be a celebrity when you can not go out quietly. For many, this causes stress and they start consuming too much drugs or alcohol, leading to early death.

The same thing that causes anxiety and depression in all of us, being rich and famous doesn't make you immune to mental illness, anonymous people also commit suicide because of depression, I don't believe being a celebrity would be any different, they are only people like the rest of us.

In my opinion, they are under constant stress. Everybody judge them, they need to work hard so people don't forget them. And the reward is money, but they have a lot of money. They can't know nothing else. So, their lives are empty.

They are the same people as well as we, but only they yet and known. Think, that their depressions both related to the drugs and it is not. It is heavy to understand a man and his problems.
