kslaughter web site is impressive looking and i will definitely be watching this space, as we are a Aussie Mining Group looking for the right (we love avalon, but a whole lot chips to buy, then  assemble is abit much for us at the moment)

Can you go into details of your delivery Plan, timeframe, did you put the specs into www.easic.com ?
do the funds from ActiveMiner help fund the business?

ActiveMining is a virtual identity totally owned by the Active Mining Corporation (Belize) that represents both itself and its profits. ActiveMining's business includes cryptocoin mining and sales of self-built ASIC devices through its wholly owned subsidiary Virtual Mining Corporation (VMC).

Weekly Update 4/2/2014

Pre-Order Customers:

We are offering 20% off the price of our Prospector card for our Pre-Order customers.  We will apply your pre-order payment to your total Prospector card order.  You will need to use this voucher code URZSZLUF and have a valid pre-order with us.  Should your pre-order amount not cover the total on your order you will need to pay the difference.  If there is a balance left we will issue you a voucher for a future purchase.  When ordering as a pre-order customer you will need to add the Order ID of the pre-order you want transferred in the comment section of the order.

Datacenter:

The datacenter should be coming on line this week, barring any unforeseen problems.  We will be bring up 1 rack at a time.  We will have 4 racks in this phase with ~60 TH/s coming on line.  We will be adding additional step-down transformers to bring the total up to 100 TH/s after we get the first phase running.  The next phase will be to bring the datacenter up to 200 TH/s after the first month of running the first phase.

MSD Investigation:

We are continuing to work with the MSD through our lawyer to bring this to a conclusion is the shortest amount of time as possible.

Sells:

We have shipped our first miners and they have been delivered.  We are continuing to get orders and we are continuing to ship miners.

Shares:

Next week I will start transferring shares to CT so our investors can start trading.

Secretary of State Jason Kander has halted a Springfield resident's Bitcoin-based investment activity, saying in a news release today that Kenneth Slaughter used "deceptive tactics" to convince online investors to pay for the development of Bitcoin mining equipment.

Mining is the process of solving complex math problems to gain additional Bitcoins, an unregulated digital currency.

I would like a refund for the bogus Hashfast card you sent me as a replacement for the pre-order. The card ran at 30% hash rate for 12 hours giving me a whopping $.02btc before dying. I've tried several times to contact you in writing and VM. I still have the bad card post marked 4 days after receiving it because it was unclaimed at the address posted on your website. Sending me an experimental board without a warranty doesn't count as making good on my purchase. I have all of this documented and provable. Are you going to refund ME Ken?

can't believe i missed this little nugget before - what sort of startup CEO invests money in private machines and not in thier own company?

oh yeah, a CEO who has a history of deceptive tactics and builds his company entirely from investor money and not his own.

Hi Ken,

I'm yet to hear back with regards to my refund (order QNSJBYJUB). I'm among your very first customers (order placed in Aug13) hence it would be appreciated if you could prioritize this. I also received an email from you on Apr 12 2014 saying VMC had processed my refund.

If I send you my BTC wallet ID, when can i expect the refund to be done by?

Regards

So, correct me if I'm misunderstanding this, but the refund agreement says that the customer agrees to be refunded in BTC at no specific date using the coinbase.com rate on that particular date, and they furthermore agree that repayment covers all obligation that VMC has to the customer.

So let's say that between now and when the refund is paid, the customer enters into legal action against VMC. All VMC has to do is pay the refund for that customer, and doing so would activate the agreement and stop the legal action.

In other words, this isn't a refund request, it's a settlement agreement that doesn't even require VMC to pay anything up front. It can easily be triggered by VMC if you ever sue them, and it still lets them wait literally forever to pay you back. So the form gives VMC power that the customer shouldn't agree to.

We have already started sending out the first payment.  We intend to pay refunds as soon as we receive the form and can process the request.

Hmm I hear this words in february when I want refund first time we want proof with blockchain info link this is anonymous so you can public this on this forum.

Who is with this idea with me?????

Hi,

I just got one of the 750GH Cards that I was not expecting.  I ordered a system back in December.
First I was not sure what it was but now I figured it out.

I looked at this video and it matches.

VMC Gold Rush 750gh/s 28nm Bitcoin ASIC Mining Card

The box only was white no cover.

The question is I would like to sell this card and at least recoup some of the money.

Any one suing these guys let me know.

Thanks

Wow, it amazes me Ken is still around trying to patch up this dreadful situation. There doesn't seem to be any rationale behind VMC's behaviour and actions. I placed an order with them in August 2013 and never received any gear nor refund.

Did you ever filled in the BTC refund form Ken published or did the card magically appeared?

Why would he still be mailing mining cards if he has decided to disappear? I don't get it...

The card looks real.  I have not tried it.

I guess I could try it out, but I would rather just sell it.

Would you mind having a look to see if there is a locale for where it was dispatched from at all?

We ordered a FastHash unit 50 weeks ago. We complained to the State of Missouri last spring. We did not sign up for the Bitcoin refund. A couple days ago I did give the Wood Law Firm contact information. However, today, we got a box. We haven't opened it yet. There is discussion about rejecting the shipment.

Has anyone else had a delivery from them? Does the thing work?

Which FashHash unit?

Honestly, depending on what you are getting and what you paid, you might want to reject it. What's listed on the packing slip?
Chances are you have a slim chance at getting a full refund, but your chance at a full refund might be higher than the current value of whatever's in the box.

We've decided that returning it will get us nothing. Opening it might get us mining. So we opened it.

It contains a card that greatly resembles the one in this posting, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=560034.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=560034.0) and http://youtu.be/vr281yTrCVY (http://youtu.be/vr281yTrCVY). The card was poorly mounted in a generic case. Included was a power supply, CPU water cooler and a RaspberryPi. The Pi won't boot. It gives a "HashFast" splash screen. I can't read the file system off of the SD on my MacBook.

I've pulled the components out and mounted them on a scrap piece of plywood. I've built a minimal CentOS virtual machine and compiled the latest CGMiner on with with HashFast support.

Tomorrow we'll try it out.
