Title: What's the best arbitrage bot?
Post by: gamaman990 on June 02, 2017, 06:26:04 AM
Really tired of being tied up to computers and manually placing orders all day long. Anyone can recommend a trading bot with multi exchange arbitrage function?

I am not seeing any feasibility to have bots for arbitrate trading. Crpto trader are sharing here about their real time difficulties to avail arbitrate opportunities so automizing arbitrate trading across different trading platform is not seeming feasible imho.

Could you mind explaining what is that website which you are referring is all about ?

why would we want to use bot for arbitrage if the transaction is still getting slow confirmed? this is not recommended while we can do another thing to make money. you need to calculate the time when you want to make arbitrage, is it worth or not and i think if the confirmation is fast, it will be worth to do arbitrage.

This is not a bot but can you help find profitable pairs. This minimalize time to find it you must only check how much coin is avaible to trade for lower price, how much is to sell on higher price and if this coin isn't disabled on this exchanges. In the same time you can check much pairs earlier i play on my old arbitrage script and take some profits from it maybe  not 100% but somebody have luck to double it my average daily profit earlier: about ~5 up to~10%

Haven't used any of the trading bots. It's good to participate manually, because price variation happens periodically and only a human mind which is focused on the specific subject makes the right prediction and the trading in a better way than the trading bots which are developed by the same human minds.

there are certain actions that you can not do manually and need a bot. one of them is what OP is asking for and that is Arbitrage trading. there is simply no practical way of doing that without a bot with high speed calculations and high speed internet to execute orders.
what you say is true about traditional way of trading which is buy low, sell high. that can always be done manually and without a worry in the world!

I haven't tried it yet .. but Blackbird bot sounds cool ..

it's open source..
https://github.com/butor/blackbird (https://github.com/butor/blackbird)

Unlike other Bitcoin arbitrage systems, Blackbird doesn't sell but actually short sells Bitcoin on the short exchange. This feature offers two important advantages:

The strategy is always market-neutral: the Bitcoin market's moves (up or down) don't impact the strategy returns. This removes a huge risk from the strategy. The Bitcoin market could suddenly lose twice its value that this won't make any difference in the strategy returns.

The strategy doesn't need to transfer funds (USD or BTC) between Bitcoin exchanges. The buy/sell and sell/buy trading activities are done in parallel on two different exchanges, independently. Advantage: no need to deal with transfer latency issues.

Quiet smart for a new member on this forum and you are definitely right, when i tried out to open the site,i neglect it directly its just an another scam. Relying on trading bots arent too necessary specially when we do arbitrage trading if you dont have much time on facing your computer on longer hours then that would be the effect.I dont have any idea on bots that do have this kind of feature which are good on arbitrage.

you need to calculate the time when you want to perform arbitrage, is it valid or not? i think if validation is fast, it would be worth to do arbitrage.
It is better to participate manually, because price fluctuations happen periodically and there is only one mind that focuses on a particular theme that makes the prediction correct.

the problem with arbitrage is that the spreads are rarely big enough to cover the fees because for big coins like bitcoin with a huge market, the price is always at a balance between exchanges because people buy and sell it the same everywhere unless that exchange has some issues.
on top of it, you will find that there are a lot of competitions in this method. others are also doing it which makes it riskier and harder to make decent profit to justify the effort.

I'm still looking for a good one. i gave arbitragecoins.com a shot but the are a complete scam. they say they did 489 trades today yet my coins weren't among the ones traded? thats nonsense. They aren't trading my coins, that are adding them to the total amount of coins BEING traded for them and by them. every trade they enter, I should be in on as long as its my coin. I have been going in circles with their EXTREMELY lame customer service while I got the distinct feeling they were snickering. they are full of BS. Anyway, I can't even get them to send my ether back to my account without verifying my PERSONAL information. That defeats the whole purpose why most people are into crypto.... for the anonymity! Stay away or you will lose your coins GUARANTEED. I did!!! Seriously, how many people do you think signed up, sent them coins, and now can't do squat because they want to know your real identity! B.S.  Arbitragecoins.com has mega issues and problems.  Customer Service chat (the only method of contact)  takes hours to get a response and if you don't respond right away, they dump you and you have to wait some more hours to start the conversation over.  If you're not a complete scam, you don't have near enough customer support.  Remember that people are more likely to resolve the issue on your site first.  It's only after tiring efforts to get things resolved that most people will bitch on the forums.  No proof needed, it's human nature.  Good Customer Service doesn't demand proof.  So your option here is to support your customers and quit scamming them -that's the only solution.

I'm one of the very pi**ed customers of 'arbitragecoins.com'. I think my e-mail's shown here, otherwise its 'hamjii@yahoo.com'. As requested many many many times, my withdrawal request was :

Bitcoin(BTC)    Withdraw - 3G9~    0.0444439    Pending    19/12/2017
Tether(USDT)    Withdraw - Fee for LTC    5    Success    19/12/2017
Tether(USDT)    Withdraw - Fee for DASH    5    Success    19/12/2017

The same day you collected the 5D fee for the other transactions(ie. not withdrawal).

I'll put the correction here if my wallet is filled.

ps.

I'm very curious of ANYBODY's e-mail address on this site by the way. I was very surprised to find the domain registration info, and lamented my negligence of doing the homework...

www.arbitragecoins.com

Registrar: NameCheap Inc.

I was also scammed by this site.
They keep me on waiting about my deposited ethereum. It's  still not reflected on my dashboard.
Their reasons are, 1. 2FA upgrade of the website, wait for 24 hours. 2. Still upgrading website, but the complaint was already forwarded to account department, wait for 4 hours. 3. New year, no one in the account department can do the transaction, wait for 24 hours.

Their provided deposit address is NOT UNIQUE for each client.
It is just their own wallet address:
ethereum: 0x252274a1D56007c1F085778fBEC63938D18E2209
bitcoin: 13WTJzeSTmMCzPdgj6xcG6zHwCzevYDgRw

You can see all the transactions made in the address with a simple look at blockchain explorers:
https://etherscan.io/address/0x252274a1d56007c1f085778fbec63938d18e2209
ETH Balance:   0.00410184 Ether
ETH USD Value:   $3.58 (@ $871.72/ETH)
No Of Transactions:   48 txns

https://blockchain.info/address/13WTJzeSTmMCzPdgj6xcG6zHwCzevYDgRw
No. Transactions   63
Total Received   1.57671972 BTC
Final Balance   0.00060899 BTC

This would tell you that there is no way they would know from whom the deposited coins came from.

THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM! PLEASE HELP US TO STOP THE PEOPLE BEHIND THIS.

I have been trying to make a withdrawals for the past two months it has not been successful.
Arbitrage coins  only accept your deposits but you can never make successful withdraws. my withdrawals have been in pending state for the past months even after the 2FA.
It is a big scam, they are faceless, No address, they just inserted a fake address on their website recently. they claim to be operating from Malta. just as you claim they do not provide support. Even when you send them a thousand emails , do not expect a response. the internet is full of criminals. these ones are real criminals. they do not have an identity, no individual’s name is associated with them. they have now dropped their request for user to send their ID and personal details to them before you could withdraw when they only exist in the cyberspace. your details could be used as members of criminal organisations.
People should campaign in the social media to raise awareness of this fraud so that their website could be closed down to stop them from scamming innocent people.

Arbitragecoins.com is a faceless group of online scammers who deceive their victims with a fictitious crypto bot that claims to return 1% profit to its investors as USI Tech also announces.
I was hoodwinked into investing with this platform by a post in Ether Delta about four months ago.
I had some issues with Ether Delta and a contributor offered to give a suggestion and posted a link to Arbitrage coins.
Out of curiosity, I followed the link to know more about the site and what they do.
On the site, on the chat column, I was greeted by a rather elated chat attendant who enumerated the benefits of using their platform.
I was still new to cryptos, and having been concerned at the volatile nature of the market decided to give a go to the so called arbitrage coins platform.
After I had deposited about 2.227Eths to the platform, I had a sudden buyer’s remorse feeling; that I might have really overlooked something, an important aspect of the bargain. I.e. to know who really these guys were their true identity, where they were operating from, their affiliates and business registration.
To my surprise, their “about us” page gives no clue as to who they were; their “contact us” page was vague with no contact information other than a webpage form, which I later found out was not working. There were no telephone numbers to contact them with, nor twitter or telegram handles. I became sceptical, and the natural instinct was to withdraw the funds as quickly as possible before anything else could happen. That was when the whole thing started unfolding, they would not allow me to withdraw a dime. My withdrawal requests met a brick pending wall.
I contacted them through the chat outlet, I was told that I needed to submit my personal identification details before I could make a withdrawal.
I said wait a minute, who are these faceless people asking me for my ID? What do they want to use my ID for? They do not have identity, it would be suicidal for one to give out your personal information to such a group when you do not know who they are.
Your details may end up in the registration list of outlawed criminal gangs and organisation. I asked them to reveal their identity to me, the chat man said they were from Malta. After, I insisted on having my funds back, by November last year, they said they were having 2FA being put in place and that after that I could withdraw my funds.
I waited till January 2018, got the 2FA sorted out, then was very eager to withdraw my funds and there I went and hit the withdrawal button and the almighty “pending withdrawal” wall resurfaced. And it has been standing tall like the wall of Jericho of old up till this moment.
I understand others have been so similarly treated. And I also now understand the fraudsters are from India.
They still operate, their website arbitragecoins.com is still online, and attracting more victims. They now have a funny YouTube channels also advertising their poisonous scam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR7aBoZMkZM.
How do the cyberspace bring these scammers to book as I write? Would they continue to scam forever?

Some people are using those bots. One of the reasons the spread is so little between exchanges is exactly because bots are flattering differences of price. So it would be nice to discover which bot they effectively are.

So far not good with my experience with arbitragecoins.com.  I have requested a withdrawal of 2 LTC but its been two days and no one bothered to reply on the online chat.  Before that, I was chatting with a Mark.  I was gonna actually use my LTC withdrawal to buy BTC and deposit with them again but this is scary that they, so far, hasn't replied me though I can see that their chat is online.  They should handle withdrawal requests first as this is the main thing with these kind of service.  It shows the lack integrity of www.arbitragecoins.com when they don't reply to you after you make a withdrawal request.  PM me you don't believe me and I will email you proof.  So far, www.arbitragecoins.com feels like a scam.  If they return my LTC coins, I will retract my comments here immediately.

My view may be naive, but I do not see any technical obstacle for an arbitrage bot. Most exchanges have APIs and the rest is just some programming. What am I missing?

Be careful with the bots in the trade. Do not rely on bots because it is possible to preset a virus capable of stealing your account information and this has happened many times before. Trust yourself instead of just seeing what the bots are doing.

I'm keeping my eyes on this upcoming ICO they are releasing the first arbitrage exchange focused on bringing in the masses into crypto with their easy to use UI and by leveling trading volatility through their machine learning arbitrage bot. Arbitrage is a great way to make a profit especially once you're able to trade across the world price differences with major exchanges by utilizing this platform.

Hi,

I've started using a bot that really is working for me.  It uses your funds in GDAX and never leaves your wallets.  You plug in your GDAX API and it places and sells trades when the market it correct.  Its been up and running for about a month and I've made around 30% return in three weeks.

Happy to DM screen shots if anyone is keen for more info.  There is a facebook and telegram group for help and testimonials.  This is the real deal in my opinion.!

As far as i know gunbot is still the best bot for arbiter. Well known developer in this forum and for years i dont read any bad words from people who used it. Becarefull trying free bot it could probably infected with trojan or virus which will steal any information on your computer. Buy gunbot and start arbitrage.

I don't think it is not a good idea to use bot for doing arbitrage trading because you need to think about the time for sending the coins and it's not always send with fast and it's only for some coins. but for sending bitcoin from one exchange to other exchange, it will depend on the network itself so maybe you can do without using the bot which give you a full control to do arbitrage trading.

..time for sending the coins

you need to count the orderbook before the transaction.
If the coin pump - price will grow during transaction
The problem is in Trust. For working in auto mode you need to provide api keys with rights - withdrawal money
