Title: Lost about $400-500 worth of bitcoins in encrypted wallet (forgot PW)

Is there an expert or some type of program I could use to get the password back? Even if he takes like 40% I'm gaining money i should have

Write down whatever you remember now.  The more you remember the better.

There are tools and here is one:

Did you use a crazy long complicated password with twenty or more caracters?

All random numbers letters special caracters ?

Or a more simple shorter password?

i believe it was a combo of both but i have SOME idea what it was

What wallet was it? If it was an HD wallet that provides the seed words and you have them written down, you don't need your password. You can just restore from seed words and set a new password...

If you don't have the seed... and you need to try find your password, this is one of the best utils to do so: https://github.com/gurnec/btcrecover
