Here in my city there is a sucessful startup company that aims at selling online tickets for small and medium concerts, parties and other events. All they do is sell the ticket and provide a qrcode for verification, while charging 10% of the event ticket.

It is becoming huge and now they sell tickets for the whole country, and we are talking about Brazil.

Hey, did you manage to read the white paper? It is a proof of stake coin. If you see in the ANN post, the coin is mainly used for stake weighted voting that ensures: (a) legitimate events on the protocol that apps on top can choose from; (b) legitimate apps on top of the protocol, so end users don't get scammed from fake apps claiming to be Aventus secure; and (c) voting on system parameters that determine how the protocol functions. The coin is also used for stake-weighted matching of buyers and sellers in the secondary market, since to ensure the protection and regulation of touting we need to ensure anonymous buying and selling of tickets (so no off-chain transactions can occur).

Most likely the team is still finalizing some stuffs there. Max fund is needed. And maybe the beta is achievable in two to three months after crowdfund.

This is an estimate. We do not want to promise and under-deliver. We will have a product before then, on the private test net, that will be going through trials. We will also have an alpha in a week or so for you to play around with.

We aim to release the public beta in Q4, but it could be that it takes longer - we will have to see.

Private Sale simply means pre-sale. We will announce details about the crowdsale shortly.

Generally, this is a good anti-fraud project. But, I think you need to give us more information about team, more specific technical, supply and distribution. Afterall, I'm gonna support this project!

We have not released any crowdsale details yet..that is coming very soon. Until now, we had just publicly announced the project but were still going through a couple of iterations making it better based on feedback from the community.

We will have an alpha for you to play around with this week, it will be on a public test net.

As for the product, we have gone through a few iterations of the blockchain components and we should be good to go with that in a couple of months. The server components, which will make integration with existing ticketing companies easy, still need to be fully developed.

We are going to be targeting both existing businesses and new startups. Existing ticketing companies have massive amounts of technical debt. We are going to offer them a turnkey solution where all they have to do is build a frontend and focus on getting customers - we will handle all of the backend. We will also be targeting new startups, that will be able to build apps/dapps on top of the Aventus protocol so that they can sell tickets on behalf of events - think, community apps (like Reddit specific to e.g. people who like Star Wars), or social media influencers - who can make money off of promoting tickets in their communities.

Hi, thank you for your reply. We have 2 main industries we are targeting, which are very affected by fraud and touting issues.

(1) Sports - if you look at boxing matches and stuff like this, tickets start at £500 and then end up on secondary markets at £20k 5 mins later! We can fix this problem. We are looking at English football teams now and hoping to apply our solution there.

(2) Music - look at Adele tickets, which went to £9k last year after being released for £30! She was really upset about this. We plan to tackle the music industry with this.

The solution really applies to any ticketing, but as I said mainly where touting is an issue. We could do airline tickets or bus tickets, as it would make it a bit more efficient, but its not as important there.

The other thing - what we plan to do with the protocol and token is to create a global open pool of events that anyone can sell tickets for and gain commissions for doing so. So, now social influencers, community chat apps, promoters, other ticketing apps, etc and basically anyone can build a frontend and sell tickets to curated events from that list to their communities. So now, events can reach a wider audience and sell more tickets.

Interesting project - I would also like to know more about the Private/pre-sale.

This type of service is very needed in today's society of fraud being done to trusting concert ticket buyers who use non secure sites for buying their event tickets such as kijiji and craigslist.

I just finished reading the Whitepaper.  This project looks very interesting, with a real possibility of success.  I am planning to support this project when the pre-sale opens.  I will be following very closely. 

This whole aventus project seems to be a promising one. I hope this will put an end to the usual problems encountered by fans in purchasing tickets for their favorite concerts and sport events. With this great project, I hope the big companies ruling the ticketing system will shape up real quick.

Im following this projectas this will be the solution for events which fraud is common. this will eliminate fraudsters in doing such crime.

Developers Is easy to reach on slack. they are active so I wish this project will be successful.

You can be listed there even if your ICO is not yet running. the site might help as many investors visiting their site.

Hoping this project will diminish all the fraudulent. It will be hard for them to do such things if this project will be implemented on all events even on small gigs.

Aventus platform is fully decentralized or not ? I think not? It needs powerful marketing strategy to succeed in the market.

I'm sure this person has not finished reading the white paper that's why he/she does not know the sole purpose of the project.

If a project looks anti-mainstream (avt), they will focus on developing and cooperating with investors first, decentralization can't be realized unless it is intended to reach all circles/decentralization from the start, I think it takes time, but it will likely.

It will be fully decentralised in fact. At first, we will be aiding in the setting up of system parameters (e.g. fee values and time periods), but we aim to make it fully decentralised by mid 2018.

The idea of the full decentralisation is that we want to create a global standard for ticketing exchange that anyone can plug into and use, that isn't controlled by any one entity. It solves the problems of unregulated touting, counterfeit tickets, lack of oversight, and finally artists not reaching a wider audience. By making it fully decentralised and creating a pool of events on the protocol that anyone can add to and anyone can sell tickets for and gain commissions, we allow anyone to become a promoter thereby letting artists reach a wider audience :).

What are the reasons that normal users were not allowed to participate in the pre-sale?

We are not advertising the presale to any investors. This is an allocation reserved for some of our clients, corporate partners, and strategic alliances who were interested in investing in us. Since they believed in us by working with us at such an early stage, we allowed them to purchase tokens at a discounted rate. If we have some allocation left over, we are considering opening it up to the public for contributions but we are probably going to just shift the remaining allocation to the public sale.

Sorry Aventus team but I couldn't understand the presale. So if half of the %60 sold to presale buyers, only %30 left for the public ICO right?

That would make sense as the pie chart doesn't have it seperately.

And I sincerely think you should up the social bounties to %1, %1.5 would be more than enough for bug bounties. You could use some more marketability at least on this forum.

This is a statement from your ICO terms. How du the numbers provided relate to each other? 15 is 2.5 x 6. 42,857 is not 2.5 x 24,490. What am I missing in your calculations?

Hi :). We are targeting $15 million. That is not the hard cap. Since a maximum of half of the cap will be sold to strategic partners and clients in a presale at a discount, this is how the numbers add up. If you look further down at the statement about presale, you will see this information.
