Why are you buying something that techni cally isn't even a coin and gets destroyed during each transaction?

I think I can turn around and sell it for more some day in the future.

I had chances to buy bitcoin at $0.25 per BTC. I didn't because "it's probably a scam", and I regret it every day.

Replied, is it true that you can't send the last 200 XRP?? I'm pretty sure I remember reading that, I only have 20k in the wallet.

Wouldn't let me send the last 200 and even popped up a warning saying I couldn't use all the features without 400 minimum, hm.

Yeah, but the price fluctuates quickly. The majority of bitstamp offers are over 12,000 (worse then my offer) - there is a small amount of people willing to do better, and that could evaporate by the time the trade is over.

Anyway, the Ripples I'm buying, I'm holding for the long run, as I think it has lots of room to grow. I could be wrong, it's a gamble I hope will pay off.

I just completed a trade with Chuck after not knowing him at all going in.  Easy communication, we put together a deal very quickly that I think both sides are happy with, and completed it with just a handful of transactions over an hour or so.

Not that anyone did, but if one were to actually ask me, I'd say he's a straight shooter. As always be weary of any deals with your money, but I'd feel good making trades with him going forward.

Don't hold them for too long. sell them for a decent profit. Just remember there are 100 Billions of them. All pre-mined.  They have given away free ripples to hero members of bitcointalk community so that they promote ripples. None to average joe so that he needs to buy it from the hero members and hence push the price up.

I wish you the best of luck in you Ripple venture. I sure hope the price holds out long enough to make you a profit... this has started with a lot of hype, and I suspect there will be many competitive decentralized exchange platforms coming out in the not too distant future for a more secure blockchain/ledger that will prove to be more attractive than Ripple.

Why would the price need to hold out for him to make a profit?  I assume he's just immediately selling the XRP inside the client for a profit of about 15-20%.  Anyone selling their XRP to threads like this is losing a chunk of what they could have received if they spent 5 minutes making a Bitstamp account and sold via the exchange built into ripple.
