It is a problem that has been well discussed and the main problem is no one can agree on which of several possible solutions to adopt.
As for now the only choice you have is to spend the high fees. Normally fees are calculated based on the number of bytes in your transaction so if you received many small amounts of btc on that address the fee will get much higher. The fees you listed sound about average for a normal transaction. Title: Re: transaction fee so high?
