Title: Twitter syndicate?
Post by: Paracelsus on June 11, 2017, 06:02:41 PM
Dear friends,

I have an idea how we can achieve better prices and more work.

We must join our forces and go to market as one entity, this might be interesting, together maybe we can use also our own # tag everytime when tweet is made. this way we can attrect more attention on Twitter as one entity.
We can define what is minimal price per tweet, or we can voteted for our own manager which one could collect money for us and proporctionaly to number of followers every member will get its share..
This doesn't mean you do not have right to enter market on your own, in diferent projects.
I would like to hear more ideas and if we can create i would like to hear who is willing to join.
we can define who can join and upgrade level of quality and do some serious business here.
Next would be creating thread in Services when we collect enough quality members..Under 90% real followers and under 500 we wont accept for example but this can be negotiated.

No i don't want to be an Manager!

This is a great idea actually. With this we could make our tweets becomes more known.
With 90% real followers is a bit hard, I think. Because there's bot/fake accounts everywhere.
And also need a a trusted manager for this.

At least we can show results from twitter audition, this can give some clues.
Idea is to create bitcointalk twitter community which together can accomplish more and bring more attention maybe from bigger fishes..
Togeter we can have 100k, 200k real followers or more for example. This is small machine which can bite bigger cake.

I also thought about this kind of association. But only people with high-quality Twitter handle.
I think accounts must have more than 2500 followers. There is a lot of newly created accounts without any quality. People who're farming accounts not be well run all.
Also i am thinking about managing group like this, but I do not want to hold any value as an escrow.

This is something interesting I guess.
Are you looking like developing our own team so companies when host their campaigns can directly contact us and get quality advertisement in one go?
If yes then it would be nice but 500 is too less for team esteem. Followers limit should be higher so to attract companies. If we could work out then maybe possible to leave a thread in service section and hope for customers.
Will be following this thread.

Escrow can be trusted member and in return of fever we can tweet or post about his services, or small fee for his job..
Minimal number of followers 1500 this is ok i think? We need more members here to give us their opinions.

I don't have anything against, you can represent us, if you want.

1.We need members lists who is willing to join and who can join.
2.We need set of rules and guides.
3.Plans and ideas, What we can do together..
4.We can create voting system if members find it is necessary

Sounds kinda like ACE on this forum except for twitter campaigns. Might not be a bad idea and it would be an easy way for a bitcoin business that wants a lot of twitter exposure to get what they want.

Togeter we can have 100k, 200k real followers or more for example. This is small machine which can bite bigger cake.

100k or 200k real followers might seem impressive, but many of those followers are probably duplicates and probably follow at least one other person in the group if you get many people with ~2.5k followers each. I know many of my followers have followed other members that participated in the twitter campaign I managed, so the unique number of people would be lower.

Main idea behind was to create community which can get more work, and maybe we can become recognizable over time. All members of this group can advertise our group on twitter, with one daily tweet about us, and we can attract more merchants, managers..
At least we can try.

I thought this would be more interesting. It's probably because this section is not visited so often so majority do not have a clue about this.
Hope members will come and will give their opinion.

I agree with Darkstar. generally, all follow each other it is very hard to find unique followers. I have participated in one "small" campaign with less than 20 Twitter account, but the really good account, and we make a great job in this campaign.
it would be very useful to hear suggestions from the campaign managers, They know best what are the biggest disadvantages and problems there.

p.s. twitteraudit is not real, there are many bugs and cheating is possible, because of that I do not consider it a serious tool

Well, I am a newbie in the Twitter campaigns section but I do feel that getting unique followers who are interested in Crypto is very hard. You may get real followers but Crypto related followers is near to impossible.
IMO twitteraudit is a waste tool, many of the managers ask for it but it never shown proper numbers to me.
If 1.5k followers is a mandatory rule then I will be back when I have them.

Twitter audit is better than nothing, and it doesn't work horribly in detecting fake followers. I mostly use it for the Twitter campaigns that I mention to easily filter out those with obvious fake accounts. I would think that most managers look at the followers as well (I do anyway).

To get Crypto related followers, you tweet about crypto related stuff. Simple as that.

I guess I'd join depending on the pay. (and maybe help manage it as well?)

Your offer sounds very good. :)

Everyone talking about Crypto related followers, i mean we have better contribution if our followers can learn more about Bitcoin and Crypto related things. Situation is as it is, and we can only improve it now, we have chances to bring this on higher level. But still we need more interested members for this..

Nice idea, I would like to join as well if eligible to. So, we need to get crypto related followers and people who like about investment project to make it more beneficial.  So, who will manage this Twitter syndicate if you don't want to? And how much people do you need to make it happen?

Well this is not so good idea after all, so i will lock this thread soon. I don't know why there is small interest for this but i have expected at least 20 members, and more talks about this topic. If anyone decide to take over i will be very glad.

Syndicate for what ? This has been experimented before by many but to not much of use.
It works only for the short term, more precisely like how the pump and dump groups though not beneficial for all the members, but the ones who start it.

So, I guess this is the end of this discussion about twitter syndicate then?
Too bad, huh.
Maybe op need to come with a better plan next time, just saying.

There is not a plan for dump and bump group. We are talking here about Twitter account owner group, As an option for promotion where will campaign owner get best promotion on Twitter and They do not have to waste time on checking quality for every single twitter account

It is just an idea, and this is the first step. Now we know that First, the rules should be set and after that, we can talk about details how to work.
Also, Here is the majority of members  lazy or uninterested and no one want to do something in advance if there is no money reward.
