Title: Poloniex Support
Post by: remedcu on June 12, 2017, 06:13:09 PM
I filed a support ticket about missing coins in my poloniex account on May 24th with all the required proofs and my transaction history, etc.

I double checked to see if there is any mistake from my side while I calculate or was that fee for the transactions I did, well, that is not the case here.

After the initial filling, I rechecked all the coins I hold (about 15+ alts), and found that this is not the problem just with one coin, rather there was another.

I again replied to them asking for the solution on 2nd June along with the details of next coin.

I don't understand how much more I need to wait to get answer for my support ticket (#172927)

I have been really patient till now, I don't know what really I can do now.

Tried to contact the mods through the Trollbox till it was closed few days before.

Are you having similar problems? Did you got a reply or found a solution?

And a warning to all those who trade in Poloniex with a decent volume, have a check once a while of your history of transaction.

It has been approximately 2 days and i haven't  got their supports response yet. I accidentally sent BTC to USDT address, the transaction went through but never show up in my exchange wallet. I have no idea what I should be doing and I am nervous if I would lose everything. I really need their support's help at the earliest.

I kind of having a second thought about using Poloniex for trading because support seems to suck when you need it the most.

My ticket raised on Poloniex has been already a month and no reply yet.. just in process status.. its a simple withdrawal that got stock on their system, I wonder what is keeping them so long, this is not the same Poloniex customer support that was before, cryptsy is way better in handling some complaints unlike now what Poloniex is doing.

Which calculating issues are you referring to? After you buy the coins, the total coins after fees does not tally up?

This is a real concern as I consider this as fraud.

I have bought and sold some coins in their platform, and Total coins is < (buy - sell - fees)

And this is not just with a single coin, but 2 of my coins.

Almost 7 days and no reply yet. I dont know if my Bitcoins are lost. basically I sent BTC to USDT wallet and need reversals. I gave all information needed in the support ticket. But Poloniex never respond.

My case is of missing coins from their platform. Neither I have deposited into wrong account, or withdrawed to some unknown account. It's like, one second before it was their, and now it is not. I deposited BTC, it received successfully. Bought few coins, and now only some are there, the rest just disappeared. It's been 24+ days, and still no replies from their end!

i wondering that why currently i found several issue regarding poloniex even several months ago i know poloniex as the most trusted exchange but apparently their reputation has slightly decrease because they cannot solved the users issue however most people know poloniex had low respond so contact them several times to get their respond even if necessary submit support ticket to them everyday until they respond your issue

I have the same issue, it's been 17 days that I created my ticket and have yet to hear back from them (4.5k NEM which would have been 3ETH back when I sent the coins). Tried through Twitter, Reddit, Support... nothing.

I even created another thread here but nothing yet.

Ticket #273730

As I said before, anyone can have backlog issues but if you're open with your customers they will know where they stand. Their problem is being silent thus they create anxiety and unecessary fear. This is what's hurting their reputation.

They're still processing tivkets, they have a backlog. And the backlog isn't helped by people posting multiple tickets, which just go into teh queue behind the original ticket.

You could try posting about your problem on the following thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/6foeqy/exchange_issues_megathread_poloniex/

Mention all your ticket numbers, and also add the following  /u/mike-poloniex to your comment as it will send a personal message to him

I sent in support of poloniex requests 2 times, unfortunately my tickets were unanswered. Apparently they maybe have a huge shortage of personnel, or they ignore the messages from users. Although for an organization registered in America, this behavior is very atypical.

It is necessary to employ more employees in such a large exchange firm support team. :((

Yea Poloniex is not doing enough to keep their support up. Last ETC transaction took 1 week and guess what a DNotes transaction got missed by the system again who knows how long I must wait now. This is a serious issue and Poloniex needs to hire more support workers asap and fixes their deposits.

Currently, only Bittrex,c-cex and cryptopia are decent exchanges that have good support and are fast.

Just keep going buddy and pissed them off on to your replies until they would answer and what the heck for about 2 months support ticket hasnt been answered yet? They do suck now bigtime. Knowing poloniex back in the past their service is smooth and without any problems but on now they are facing lots of issues not only on support problems but also into their deposits and withdrawal processes. If they would continue this then for sure this would be the cause of their fall.

Nice words you have there. It do really sucks that poloniex having no word into these issues arising in the community regarding into their service. Never really keep your money on exchanges if you dont really like to have problems on withdrawing it and you will really experience such thing. It would really be a gamble if you do decide to transfer money on those sites.

If you want to live trade you kinda need the funds on the exchange. Also for margin trades. I hope Bittrex add margin trading soon. Still waiting on my Dnotes has been like 5 days now and some are waiting over a month for their money insane. Why are still 25000 people using it?

Thats bad. They do only credit a small amount of BCH inspite on having a good number or amount of Bitcoin on your wallet. Their supports really suck bigtime as of now and i dont know whats happening to them why they are very slow on answering on the current issues happening on their service. If this thing would continue im sure people will jump out on other better exchangers.

If you do a little research on Poloniex, you'll really get worried.  The company phone number is voicemail only and the address is just a front.  Go ahead and visit the "office"; there's no Poloniex office there.  The company attorney does not work for the large international firm he claims to work for and never has.  They have never heard of him.  His phone number is disconnected and his license to practice law doesn't exist.  Neither Tristan D'Agosta nor any of the company execs are reachable either.  They have no office number and their personal numbers have been disconnected.  In fact, the personal numbers for all of Tristan D'Agosta's family members have been disconnected as well.  Even the Rutgers department that his mom used to head up has had its number disconnected.  His "best friends" from college claim to have never even heard of him and, interestingly, Tristan is not in a single photo with his "best friends."  For now, I am not concerned because Tristan makes too much money to pack up and take off.  When the US gov't cracks down on exchanges though, don't be surprised if Poloniex goes up in smoke and takes everyone's funds with them.  A legitimate company doesn't use fake lawyers, a fake address and have the phone numbers of everyone with any attachment to the company or its employees disconnected.

I think Poloniex totally dumped their support side.   It's in their best interest to not help people get their coins back as they then become Polo's coins.  It's part of their exit strategy.

Think about it people.  When is the last time you heard of someone actually getting a ticket worked on by Polo's support?

If you still have coins on Polo, get them out of there as quick as you can before it's too late (if it isn't already).

Waiting since 60 days now. The lost 5000 BitShares from my account during a canceled transaction. It's not much money, but anyway. I'm really wondering why people are still using this platform and why the big crypto news sites and blogs don't write about that issue. There are so many people sharing this problem. I mean, its obvious that Polo is either bankrupt or stealing. There is no other explanation.

My warning: If you have coins on Polo, get them out of there as long as you still can!
