Title: Digital currency commodity holding companies and depository receipts; ADRs
Post by: jimhash on June 24, 2017, 12:44:06 AM
Do there exist digital currency commodity holding companies (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/holdingcompany.asp) in India, for example, which issue pnotes (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/participatorynotes.asp) or for which depository receipts (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depositary_receipt) are available (like ADRs (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/adr.asp), for example)?
Either might allow for accelerated American investment in digital currencies while allowing the holding companies to engage in market maker (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/marketmaker.asp) activities, potentially reducing price volatility.
