Title: virus sent from Mt.Gox?? Post by: haploid23 on June 20, 2011, 03:45:41 AM i just got this email, and it seems too fishy. since when have we ever needed to manually install this kind of "certificate" for security purposes?

Mine and your email addresses are 'out there' and I expect to be spammed quite a bit over the next few days/weeks/months until I get round to creating a new email address.

It is very easy to spoof the sending address in an email, and since the list of MtGox accounts is now out (emails included) we can expect many more "viruses" (and other "smarter" attacks) in the future. It's not the end of the world: exercise caution, don't download attachements and don't click on links in emails.
