Title: Any tips on parenting?
Post by: SugoiSenpai on June 24, 2017, 06:20:39 AM
My kids are getting out of hand, my eldest son was very depressed because his girlfriend broke up with him. He was so depressed that i caught him once with his friends smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol, what should i do? Should i scold him? I am not very close to him since he doesn't want me to treat him like a little boy. Another issue is my younger son, i recently caught him smoking vapor and he is only 13 years old. Why do these kids do such things? Do i need to transfer them to another school? What should i do? Thanks for your answers.

Just give your children the attention they need and don't let them feel that they are alone. They need the proper guidance and support of the parents.

Children need to pay enough attention and talk with them about their problems. It is necessary to explain calmly about the fact that drinking alcohol and smoking is very harmful to their body.

My child is 3 yrs. old and in his age, curiosity is at its peak. I let him explore, play and learn from what he is doing-whether they may hurt him. I let him see things in his own and then when he's done, I come up in the process and explain things to him. In this stage my child is learning from his experiences and from the things I tell him.

Never ever abuse your kid about studying or learning. It won't work.

Give a great example by yourself - so your children may study from you...It doesn't work in other ways
