However, i may need to discuss some terms before we start.

Having 400 BTC at a time is really impossible for me but i can afford them occassionally, gradually by exchanging at my end as the buyer sends me his money.
That's why i mentioned that i have some terms to discuss before we commence.

Anyways, you reply was really a fun to read  ;D

Very much. You can buy a villa for that price. Not many people can fulfill your request. Try looking at localbitcoins and you can use some seller to get the total amount you want. Do not expect a place to meet that demand.

And giving 10% reward?

I dont believe a single word of this story.

If you can do wire and are ready to verify your identity and origin of funds, I could help you to buy much lower but something smells fishy here.

edit: hmm your TRUST is nice to read...

I'm guessing he is using it for some illegal purchases or money laundering which is why he wants to do private deals. Just speculation on my part though.

He also may value his privacy, and/or does not have sufficient documentation for his business to allow him to open a business account.

The 10% premium on that large of an offer does make this sound like a scam though.

There is huge demand of bitcoin supply after bitcoin reaches to 2000$ and more. I suggest you find the local traders for the safety concern with the huge investment which you mentioned. Still there is option available in online in localbitcoins because I have noticed multiple location traders are also been as a trader in here. You can find the best traders can sell bitcoins for the amount.

I would like to leave a public notice I have been in contact with the OP and he's interested in purchasing 400 bitcoins from me.

I've also read he's talking to other sellers for similar amounts... What is exactly happening? I was given the impression the sale was to be conclusive.

If anyone else is planning to "meet with him to check the cash" in Switzerland, not using a trusted escrow and getting soothed in the large fee promised, I advise you to be weary of your very own life, aside of course your bitcoin.

OP please shed some light on this matter. Are you hoarding a bunch of potential vendors for precautionary reasons or is this all a honeypot?

400 bitcoin around $900k, it's big amount.  :)

Price must have crashed - according to preev.com (http://preev.com/btc/eur) € 1,000,000 = a cool BTC 450.5 at today's rate.

Hang off for a few days, maybe the price will drop a bit further and you'll be able to buy more...

How would you like to pay for it?  ::)

Neue Variante, uralter Trick.

**********************************************************************

In short, I try to translate my german text above:

The Story of a very huge Offer comes in every few days, and its always a hoax.
Take care, NOBODY in Europe is so stupid and pays 10% fee on such a huge amount.
There are several groups of scammers in Europe who target traders.
You will get lured to a foreign destination and in the very best case, loose only all your btc.
Specially beware of destination North Italy, Russia, Switzerland.

I know personally already victims of that scam.
It is organised, they are more persons involved than you can see, and they are better than you expect, beware!!!

One Message to the scammers: There are already several eyewitnesses and descriptions of persons...
...one day you will pay for your crimes

No, Its never the fault of a victim to get scammed,
its the fault of the scammer.

As there is no answer from OP, but he had been online meanwhile, it seems to be obvious that a huge scale scam at the amount of several hundred thousands of euros was planned.

Actually this kind of scam is going on through many channels and I am sure every year hundred thousands of euros are scammed by that gangs.
If I am wrong and serious trading happened, I will apologize...but it all fits in the SCAM ALERT

I would recommend you to get verified on Kraken. If you are a serious buyer it should suit your needs.

With T3 verification you can withdraw 100k$ daily so you would have your money within 10 days, nearly no risk, no escrow, propably lower fees than with other traders.

Someone get a moderator to close this useless thread, since there is the lack of documentation.

And obviously with this amount it would most be a deal with a large exchange directly, if everything was legit.

You sure about that? Shouldn't the responsibility fall onto the would-be victims to keep themselves secure? Many users of this forum are impervious to these crimes because they take the time to get educated on them and secure themselves. Or they don't put themselves into positions of vulnerability to begin with. Everyone gets what they deserve in this world.

I never said the perpetrators are innocent. If someone has blood on their hands, they must face their own consequences. But everyone must accept responsibility for whatever happens in their lives. Since everything that happens in this world is necessary and occurs because of previous circumstances (this case being the victims naivete) setting the stage for these occurrences.

Youre right, everyone has to take care, thats why I try to warn here, as this are not lowlife scammers, but its an organised huge thing.
I just dont like the opinion, that its the victims fault if they didnt take care enough. Just dont like scammers and thieves...
This gang of scammers are ultra professional and even if you take care, you will get scammed if you enter the trap...they are smarter than you think...

You sound like a scammer justifying your scams and motivations for scamming. You have the nerve to absolve criminals of the blame and the consequences of their actions.

Criminals are fully responsible for the damage caused. There are no ifs or maybes or buts. They are adults and are capable of making choices. If they choose to hurt or kill someone, it is wrong to say it's the victim's fault because the police wasn't there or because the victim was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

A trade of this magnitude should not be done in a hotel but in a safe enclosed place such as a bank where funds can be immediately checked for authenticity and deposited or in a transit area of an international airport where these so-called "buyers" cannot simply perpetrate a hit-and-run operation.

400 bitcoin around $900k, it's big amount.  :)

It indeed a good amount of money but with the on going downfall in the price of bitcoin, I guess  it will get constricted to some lower amount. May be, the op would have change his mind with the price downfall if he has got no intentions f scamming people.

If cant find a seller who want to go to Switzerland Im gonna tell them the only option will be wires of 2500 e each to exchanges like poloniex or okcoin.

this deal is getting really big for me.

Buyers are honest but such amount of cash is impossible to handle without get in to troubles.

the idea of get 30 50k make me think to find alternatives.

Still trying but I see this deal to far away now.

Buyers put their conditions.

Sellers as well so they never gonna understand.

Switzerland doesn't have a OTC market?

edit: if i had 1000 btc possibly i will not sell it.

As I said in PM, only if you come with cash or the possibility of doing SEPA transfer in my country I can handle your ammount quite easy.

There are not so many traders who may be interested in going abroad with such a big quantity of bitcoins on them and no ensurence of the other person having the cash.

No one is going to offer you a better price per bitcoin and about using localbitcoins, I wouldn't do that instead of you. Speaking of 400 bitcoins you will lose 4 bitcoins just on base fees on lb + ex fees for big ammounts ~4.934 btc.

One Message to the scammers: There are already several eyewitnesses and descriptions of persons...
...one day you will pay for your crimes

could you briefly describe how this kind of scam is?
the only two possibilities i can imagine is 1. counterfeit money 2. robbery
anything else except these two possibilities?
Thank you in advance~

So...

1. It must be a single trader with that amount in bitcoin already in liquidity, no delay between the payment and the transfer is acceptable
2. This one individual must fly to an hotel in Switzerland, possibly one of the less safe places to conduct a business deal of these sorts followed by a sewer and a dark black alley. The hotel will most certainly be bugged, easily infiltrate-able by thieves and frankly unprofessional.
3. You are not available to travel anywhere else, delay the btc transaction a couple hours or bargain for any change.
4. Your means of payment will be a duffel bag full of the most flamboyant pieces of currency ever produced, in the process of being declared illegal and which not even banks will accept.

Pal all this is restrictive and as you noted you're most probably going to lose the opportunity to broker the deal and make some cash. May this be a lesson on professionalism for the future.

PS English is also a great language to learn for future reference.

Mate my friend Jaume still on the business as far i can tell you he is looking for buyers, but since you wrote the scammers use this technique, i told jaume to be careful.

I saw the guy call LEO and MARK 2 times in London, they did show me  a video with a lot of money ( not sure if was a million but all 500£ notes like came from the bank with the string attached to them)

I did pull out because was a complex deal and the sellers i found, put some conditions but Leo told me like that hes not gonna do it.

ill lie to you if i say i didn't think to text them back to know if they finished the deal but i didn't cos i found a full time job and with bitcoin i always lost many.

Happen selling bitcoin hardware, happen trading and i think this time will not be different.

Im not a scammer im a family dad desperate to give my child what i don't have.

on the other side i consider you a person who doesn't use the brain at all and jealous, i followed some of your post and as you can se nobody gives a shit what do you think.

I assume you're another people who hide behind of a screen. Im not my name is Ruben Rodriguez and i dont like people call me scammer. Anyone could tell you im not this kind of person.

i did leave a bad feedback to you cos you have a really big mouth.

when you apologise or talk to me maybe ill take down cos at the end i don't care about you ( no even a bit)

but if you know somebody who needs to buy btc and can pay with bank transfer ill be glad to help for a little commission all of us need to eat as well.

Ps learn from Gleb, lauda bitcoin co-op to use the trust system.

i don't think you apport anything to this forum so ill not waste my bad writing on you have thousands of post more interesting than us.

Have a good day Mr.relax, find a life and enjoy it dont try to fuck another peoples dreams just because you're jealous.

take care

Hello, maybe youre not the scammer but maybe you will be the victim of a scammer or simple fall in a trap.

Actually I dont need to proof my success with BTC, but i am very happy and not jalous at all.
Cryptos allows me an incredible life, at least compared to  what I was used to...

And I dont hide behind the screen, but I do tons of trading since long time and I know this special SWISS/Italian scam very well and from close.

Sorry If I told, "YOU" are the scammer.
Diudnt want to make you small for me to seem big.
I just want to create awareness about this scam.
Probably the scammers just wanna use you.
Yes, I met several of the professional local-trader-scammers already, and they  DO have cash to show...

Or there is the slim chance that it is not a scam.
Do you know how many empty cans are making noises at my door?
Every few days someone want to trade 100k, 200k, 500k...and you know what?
80% scammers, 20% empty trousers with big mouths.

Just reflect  serious: Did your trade happen and made everyone happy?

If you made this trade and did some profit, it should be at least 40k Euro, then just laugh about me and be happy...

Yes Ive seen many of your trust reference and talk really well about you, I would love you to consider me to do any future trades, as I told you, my only though is provide my little one what she needs, even if sometimes mind get in trouble with people i dont know.

I would like to talk more about this two guys in private may are the sames ones knock on your door, and i dont want they harm Jaume or anyone else.

I know with crypto you can live very well I been trying to do so since 2012, maybe im a bit impatience for this i did lost a lot of my money between sell hardware, ethtrade.org and some trading.

Im not crying about it, just pointing maybe you right and thanks to prevent me before finish in prison or even dead.

Hope you had a good weekend, gonna go back to the kitchen is Sunday fajitas here and its nearly time for my little one goes to sleep

Take care Mr.relax see you arround here
