Title: How to allow claymore to control fan?
Post by: pzycho010 on June 27, 2017, 01:35:28 PM
I set -fanmin 60% on my start.bat yet the fan still produces around 20-40%

Is there other things I need to check before using fanmin and fanmax?

Same issue. Set 50 min, but does not work.

From the readme file
Code:
This option works only if miner manages cooling, i.e. when "-tt" option is used to specify target temperature. Default value is "100".
Note: for NVIDIA cards this option is not supported.

Try to use also -tt to set a target temperature

IMO don't bother if you're on Windows, Afterburner does an infinitely better job at fan control.
